Dinner tonight was Cobia with asparagus and roasted potatoes on the pellet grill/smoker. Quick and easy.

Man that looks good! You ever do some fishing? Catch some reds and cook them up? We have some friends that own a condo in Seagrove I believe. They will catch reds and overnight them to us up here. Fresh reds are the best thing on earth!

I do fish on occasion, but not enough. I was out on the Gulf last Wednesday and we got some really nice Grouper. A few reds also.

Cobia is one of the tastiest. And fun to catch. Yum.

Weather is finally starting to get good enough to fire up the grille. I'm just afraid to look under the lid after several months of it being idle. Last time it was really gross. Is it is a good idea and just light it up and burn the mess off?

Threw a couple prime New York’s on! Horrible picture quality but I got these puppies for like $6/lb at H‑E‑B! They were phenomenal. Good ol’ cavenders with fuck fat spray

That's what I usually do. I even took the grills once and used my bench grinder with the wire wheel.

Yup I knock all the loose crud off with a brush and burn a couple chimneys of charcoal. Every couple cooks I rinse the belly out with a hose. A cheap plastic spatula or puddy knife works great

Asked the wife to stop on the way home from work to grab a couple Porterhouse's to slap on the grill. She came home with these monsters, almost 5 lbs. and 2 1/2 inches thick. :eek2: Asked her if she noticed the size and price, she said she didn't have her glasses with her, but she thinks they were on sale. o_O :)

Tomorrow she's gonna ask for a new car or something. Just wait. :)

And it's rightfully deserved. You should ask her to bring steaks home more often - those look amazing.

:rofl::rofl: They were absolutely amazing. She just ate the fillet part and was full, I did my best to finish mine because it took me so long to cook them, but I couldn't. :( Some good samiches to come for sure. :)

Yup I did that with my weber kettle. After I go the BGE my kettle sat unused for a very long time, when I did open lid oh dear god I slammed it back down for fear of a virus escaping and causing a zombie outbreak.
I dumped in a lot of charcoal and lit it off and let it burn till it was all gone. Good to go again.

My brother sent me a picture of the ribs he did on his BBQ last night. Please don't make fun of him for being a propane peasant.
