Grilled (pellet smoker actually) leg-of-lamb. Added carrots to the meat pan and green beans on the gas grill, sauteed with onions.

A little this and that...Broke now
Finally got me a pellet grill on sale at the HD. Picked up a Traeger Pro 34 with a cover and some hickory pellets. Did the initial fire and first season. Mama wanted wings so on my maiden voyage I made a honey, soy, garlic and red peppers glaze. Drizzled em with a little olive oil dusted em with veterans q chicken seasoning black pepper and chili powder cranked her up to 450 and cooked em about 12 minutes-ish each side. Temped out 170 plus. put em on the tray added the glaze. All the sudden I'm papi chulo again.

You will love that thing. I use mine every day. I don't know when was the last time we used the oven - everything is better with a touch of smoke. This past weekend my daughter and I even baked chocolate muffins in it...just because we can. At higher heats you don't get a lot of smoke so it is almost like an oven, but there is that little hint of smoke that makes it perfect.
If you ever make oven pizza - try doing that on the pellet grill - huge difference; it makes store bought frozen pizza tastes like wood fired 'real' pizza.

As an FYI: I always use Pit-boss pellets. I have heard (not sure if it is true) that some pellet brands use real wood for the flavor-wood part (Pit Boss and some others), and some use flavored oils (Traeger and some others). There was actually an attempt for a class action law-suit recently about that. So, apparently you don't get as good a flavor from the Traeger brand pellets.

    Enjoy!

I know that I have tried 20 - 30 different brands of pellets and Traeger would be at the bottom for me. They sell for $18 to $22 per bag around here and is the most expensive. Not that great of flavor and seems to get real hot which tells me they use filler in their pellets.

    Lumberjack is the best yet.

I can't use anything else. Its worth it IMO. Sauce and Rub. Simple but soooo good.
If you could ever get your hands on some Mini's BBQ sauce I would gladly trade :)
Its my favorite on pork, I have a stockpile of Brooks from my last trip to Oneonta

I probably won't be able to get out to get any until Friday. I'll take it to the PM before then.
Mini's is also good on chicken. There's a recipe on the bottle that involves baking then grilling. I haven't done that since I got the Brooks though.

@JMB you got me thinking about brooks. Gkt a small 3.5lb chicken and am smoking it 220 then will crank up the camp chef to crisp the skin. Love spatchcock style, so much quicker and tastier

    Pollo asada sounds really good.

    Wing night!
I love Frank's Red Hot sauce, but most of the family prefer dry rub only (although they like the taste of Frank's). I found the Frank's spices, so now I can make wings that everyone can enjoy.
