    BACON!!!

I love cooking bacon on my Traeger pellet grill. It comes out perfect every time. I always seem to burn it when I cook it in the skillet.

Alright. Since everyone asked for it.

BTW, those were Kirkland brand from Costco and they were Johnsonville good. I did boil 'em in beer before hand. Poke a couple of wholes with a knife so that beer can get into the brat. So tasty as always.

The ones I did on Saturday were smoked all the way. Then I blanched them in beer.

Smoke them 45 minutes to 60 minutes on both sides.. put your beer in a pan and make sure it is hot. When the brats are done put them in the beer for about 20 minutes. Best ones I've done so far!

Sounds delicious. But I like the crunch on the brat after it comes off the grill, does blanching in beer take that away?

Nope, because of the 2 hourish smoke the skin kept the crunch. They still had a crunch yesterday when we finished them off.

Does anyone have a small 15 inch ceramic grill? Kamado or green egg? Thinking about buying one for me and the wife....just the 2 of us. Want it small enough to carry camping...reason for the tiny size
