Grilled some burgers and hot dogs last night. I haven’t done this in a while.

For some reason, grilled hamburgers always make me sick. Woke up with a stomachache this morning. I have no idea why this is. I can eat hamburgers any other way with no problem. If they’re cooked on a grill, it happens every time. No matter where, no matter who cooks them. I can eat anything else off a grill no problem. Just burgers. Weird.

Have you tried cooking them on a skillet to see if that causes stomach issues too? Maybe it's the meat you are using. That is weird.

Have you noticed if it's w/both propane and Charcoal? Maybe the chemicals in the charcoal have an effect on you?

We need to go to Jason's house for some grillin' so we can inspect for ourselves. I'll bring some chips and beer.

Yep, fine with a skillet. It’s both with propane or charcoal. No matter where the meat comes from. Me cooking them, or anyone else. It’s not just at my house. Not just when I cook them. Nothing else cooked on a grill ever causes a problem, propane or charcoal.
I’m always the only one affected.

Been that way for over twenty years.

I think you have zeroed in on what the problem is. It’s pretty mandatory to drink alcohol at all cookouts, BBQs, shindigs, weddings, and alone at home :anonymous:

That’s is a fact! Plus it also numbs all tummy ache sensations

    Edit: warning
Side affects may occur such as hangovers, blown out butthole from all the alcohol and meat product consumption, headaches, and shameful regrets lol

I don't know why people grill burgers or dogs anyway. My motto is:"if it worth doing, it's worth doing it right". Just grill some steaks or chops instead. problem solved.

Ribs and brats tonight. On the grill and then on the smoker for a little but for the flavor. Not enough time for just the smoker low and slow after coming home from work. Grill speeds it up and I like the combination of the grilled flavor with a touch of smoke.
Served with grits and tomato & onion gravy/sauce.

Starting the week's grilling with salmon and cauliflower.

Salmon grilled with olive oil, salt & pepper. Then, when almost done, cover in chutney and let it sit on slow grill for a little while to heat to chutney.

    IMG_20190225_173659.jpg

Grill the cauliflower untill it gets nice color and flavor. Sprinkle with salt, pepper, garlic.

    IMG_20190225_173701.jpg

    Served with mashed potatoes.
