Making some smoked pig shots, wrap bacon around a piece of sausage (using home made venison sausage) to make a cup then fill with cream cheese, shredded cheese and diced jalepeno mix. Other half I just filled with some brown sugar. Making for a little get together beer drinking and yard games later.

It's hard to find Kobe beef here but I'm sure it's sold here somewhere..Wagyu cattle have a better life. They get to free range a bit. Kobe steers are fattened up/massaged in a small pen.. Sort of sucks when I think about it.

Wagyu's have great marbling like Kobe beef. Kobe is super tender because of the hand massaging. Flavor really comes down to what they are fed. My favorite steak I've ever had was from my Dad's cousins ranch in northwest corner of Nevada. Free range, wild grass....cast iron skillet seared................can't beat it. At least for me. haha..

That sounds good! Tri tips are hard to beat. A decent tender chuck steak is hard to beat too for the money. Fresh ground chuck makes a decent burger too.

The only way to go, I gave up gas grills long ago.

Heres a tip, never used charcoal lighter fluid. You will always taste it in the food afterwards. Buy a charcoal chimney. I use two paper towels in the bottom with a little vegetable oil. Works every time.
