Yeah, we don't have laundry day. We have laundry month in August, it's the only open water time.

Sorry George, no luck on the knob. Dealer said I had to turn it in to get the new one. Guy said it was the first broken one he'd seen.

Had mice show up in the house. Pest control put bait out. No more mice seen.
Didn't know we had squirrels in the attic! They got bait and now making their former existence known.

We had a semi driver that was lost. He entered the front of our complex parking lot that clearly is only for car parking. All the loading docks are in the rear and easily seen. The driver tried to make a tight 90 degree turn and drove over a picnic table, a bench, and wiped out a hedge row. :benchpress:

Went thru the drive thru for only a hot coffee, 3 vehicles ahead of me all taking too long and it’s because they all ordered dozens of doughnuts and food. Drive thru should only be for 1 meal order for speed and efficiency. So annoying.

    Ceiling fans with remote control

I reckon 99% of us leave the damn thing on high.

if I was ever in such a dire condition as to want to adjust the ceiling fan….im going to pull the damn chain

and fans should have one speed

    say it

    Say it

    high

Only time I use reverse, is to get the dust off.

Imagine keeping up with a remote that you use once a year!

My wife and I grew up in low income homes. We just built a new house and it has high efficiency furnace/central air with some fancy outdoor makeup air unit that filters and pumps outdoor air into the system, yada yada.
Not a single ceiling fan in the whole house.
    Not needed.
She asked if I could install a few, like it's 1988.
I hate ceiling fans. All they do is collect and swirl dust.
    She's annoying .

We have a fan in our bedroom. Low or even medium is nice for sleeping in the summer.

The remote is also nice for not having to get my ass out of bed in the middle of the night.

It's pretty humid here year round, but not Houston humid. The AC will help keep the house cool and dry (warm and dry in winter).
Plus, my tinnitus is way too loud for a ceiling fan to help. I would need a cheap, noisy box fan next to my head, or the TV on to help mask the ringing.

sad part. It’s an NTW convention

So, I guess all these “men” are tire salesmen

look, I don’t get out in the wild much. I’m luck to be able to work in an industrial corporate setting with o&g guys that do real work

every time I do venture out into the public, it reminds me of how fickle society has become and its propensity to follow silly ass fashion trends
