In the on going saga of I can never do anything right, the grocery store is one chapter that keeps repeating itself. She'll ask me to get something and I'll ask for more details. "Oh, it doesn't matter. Whatever you want." She'll say. When I get back I hear, "You're not really buying that, are you?"

Today I think I guaranteed I'm sleeping on the sofa. I took the bottle of juice back and went to sporting goods and automotive and stayed there until she called. I have the keys.

I have to make all the major decisions.
All of them. Wife refuses to accept any liability.
"Do whatever you think is best".
Then I get accused of being a control freak and she "has no say in anything".
And you wonder why men die first.

The opposite for me and I like it.
That way we know who to blame if something goes wrong.
But she is pretty good at making decisions.

Don't get me wrong, sometimes she will ask for input, and then she does the opposite of what I recommend..:D:thumbsup:

This is some kind of strange anomaly in the fabric of reality.
It should still be your fault somehow, even if she made the decision.

Everything ends up being my fault Sir.
You know how they twist things around, but I know in my heart what's what and so does she.
    It's an unspoken thing..:eek2:

Funny thing, I was off yesterday because I went to the doctor for a sinus infection.
She suggested I take off today and rest, making it 4 day weekend.
She works from home on Friday.
    My day of rest so far;
made breakfast, but I always cook
vacuumed the bedrooms, I'll finish the house and mop tomorrow, she won't move things when she vacuums
did a few loads of laundry, she usually does this on Friday when I'm at work
    made the beds
AND since she had an appointment for an oil change on her XT5 today 3, she ASKED me if I would take it in for her.
So much for my day of rest, no wonder she wanted me to take off today...:D

"Teams" has ruined work life immeasurably and permanently. Why do they need to see my face for a morning meeting, or any meeting? It's weird, it's uncomfortable. Someone is always picking their nose or arguing with their wife or child in the background. A dog is usually barking or dry-humping someone in the meeting if they are working from home. I feel like I'm in some kind of a fucked up Brady Bunch intro.

It is just weird, very weird. 85% of meetings are a waste of time and now people are using "Teams" uncontrollably and compulsively. If the topic is important enough to have a meeting, then it is important enough to meet in the same room in-person. If it is not that important, then the meeting should be canceled entirely. I'll end my rant.

We use teams for our shift meeting our first day back and have a dept page, which is fine for the most part. The annoyance is the non-stop notifications that some jackwagon somewhere else in the county made an “all users” post that usually nobody cares about but them their people. Thankfully they all go to my “other” folder in outlook.

I noticed some markings on the driver side tires of my tundra this morning. Asked the wife if she curbed the truck. Her response was she doesn’t even like to drive my truck. I think she curbed the truck and is avoiding blame. Good thing I have 18” rims. Plenty of sidewall.

    Thanksgiving is first.

What annoys me? Racks and racks of Thanksgiving and Halloween cards at the Dollar Store. Who the fuck is buying and sending these? Meanwhile, I had 3 anniversary cards to choose between for my wife, one of which I've given her before.

When people don't shut my car door hard enough. Also when they shut it too hard.

Or when I tell someone I have to unlock my door before they can get in, but they stand there anyway and rip at the door handle like they're trying to cold start a snowblower.

Wife: I can't find the TV remote. You have to help me look for it.
Me: Did you check between the couch cushions where you were sitting to watch TV last night?
    Wife: Yes.
Me: *lifts up couch cushion, revealing the remote* What's this?

    Cards annoy me.

Oh, thank you for this nice card that you put thought into choosing and writing nice things in. Now I need to either keep it and add clutter to my house or feel bad for throwing it out.

My wife has a coworker with a home garden. For the last month or so, she keeps giving my wife bags of stuff that sit on the kitchen counter until needing to be thrown out. I'm guessing my wife doesn't know how to say no, thank you.
I explained that if it was me, my feelings wouldn't be hurt if someone told me that the stuff wouldn't get used. I'd appreciate it and much rather give it to someone who will use it.
The woman probably thinks we love the stuff and gobble it up. She's probably packing up another bag of shit right now.

My wife likes to keep them in a box and reread them from time to time. She's the only person I still buy cards for.

I try. She gives us a ton of stuff. 3 giant zucchini. My wife cut one up and made(tried) fried zucchini, but I'm the only one who ate any, so the rest went bad. She gave us a bag full of cherry tomatoes. I love em, but I could only eat 1/3 before they had to be tossed. And some other weird gord looking things that have to be prepared a certain way to be edible? Neither of us know what to do with them.
She gives us enough stuff for a family of 5. And it's just me and my wife and my wife lives on pizza and pastries. So it's all on me not to waste it.
I'm only one man, for cripe sake.
