Yeah, way to not be a team player, Bob!

A few of us have started using this at work but it doesn't seem to help much, especially with the folks who work in our offices in India.

Went out and had a late breakfast yesterday with the wife and caught an early matinee of the latest Mission Impossible movie. Even with the cheaper matinee pricing, it all cost us $93 and change. $12 for a side of pancakes, $7 for an OJ, $12 for 2 coffees (these were all extras after they took the menu, and my fault for not asking price ahead of time). And the tip "options" were 18% minimum and above. Now I won't skimp on a tip for good service, but expecting to get 18% is crap when the majority of young(er) service workers these days and their distracted minds rarely warrant a tip in the first place, and the service we received was sub-par. Everything in Commiefornia has gotten beyond ridiculous. Just a matter of time before we're out of this state, just waiting for my son to finish college.

Seeing how it's too hot to cut the grass by noon these days, I'd like to start cutting the grass by 7am most weekends. I at least wait until 9, though my idiot neighbors deserve for me to fire the mower up at 5am.

One of the 4 cats my wife's friend has been missing for a week and a half now. Their house backs up to many acres of woods and no telling what's roaming out there. They are still going on about going out and looking for it. :notsure:
    Cat's gone...you got 3 others.

Trapped in a house with cat people and 3 other cats?
Yeah, it escaped and ain't coming back.
Wouldn't be surprised if it found a road and threw itself in front of a car.

The Mama cat is full on feral that the county picked up and these are half feral but has cohabitated cat friend's house. She got them fixed so they go that going for them. But sorry, the one that's been gone and not come back for free food? Yeah, sorry. What exactly are we talking about going out and look for?
I mean if it were one of my dogs I'd be going apeshit but a cat?

We have 2 dogs and a large male cat.
He's taken off for a day here and there. Has been gone for a week a couple times and has taken off for over a month a couple times.
I don't know where he goes or what he does. I never asked. But he always comes back.
The yard is fenced so the dogs can't get out, but that doesn't keep the cat in.
I don't believe in keeping animals that have to be locked in a house or cage. We worry about him getting hit by a car and don't really let him out on purpose now that he's old and fat. But he still sneaks out now and then and we don't freak out and form a search party. He comes back when he comes back.
If that cat didn't get eaten by a coyote, hit by a car or taken in by someone, it's probably just out,......being a cat. Establishing a territory and chasing bugs and mice. It'll come back when it feels like it if its still alive.

Old people stopping right in front of the door at the grocery store to check their receipts.

Actually, I'm annoyed by any old person who goes grocery shopping on the weekend. Go during the week when it's not busy and leave evenings and weekends for those of us who work and have kids and need to get in and out quickly.

I'm going grocery shopping this morning and don't even know what day of the week it is...

Dad had a saying about doorway blockers. "Don't dilly-dally in the doorways.". I've been know to mumble this in the 85-90db range.

My wife whines on occasion about how don't do cute little things together anymore, like go shopping, etc, like we did when we were first together.
Then we go somewhere together and she remembers,......oh yeah, that's why she leaves me home now.

This was part of the reason why I went full electric. Sure it still makes noise but it's a heck of a lot quieter and less maintenance for me. With all of these batteries that I keep getting stuck with every tool purchase, I figure I might as well make use of them.

What annoys me is I get a letter from the city warning me that they will fine me for my grass being too long. Granted, I'm not always on top of my lawn and I will never call a service to take care of something that is my responsibility (especially since I paid for the dang tools) but I always figure my grass grows better just a little bit longer due to the heat. Bugs me when I go around the city and see that the city landscape is longer than my yard and they want to fine me. And, to top it off, I always receive the letter postmarked before I mow but receive it after I've mowed. I swear someone is out to get me because I know my lawn is not the only one like this.
