They will work great with our Under Seat Compressor mount. You will want to sandwich the Seat Jackers in between the Compressor Mount tabs and the seat rails.

    Depends on the generation/design.

I just ordered some, now let’s see if the help me from sliding forward on long trips. It seems I am much shorter than a lot of owners using them…we shall see.

And if they are better I may get some for my RAV4 because those seats are real flat.

How tall are you? I am 5’5 and just had my delivered today. I find the seats very comfortable but I am always siding myself back because my butt slid forward. I keep the seat very high but I prefer pushing down on the pedals vs pushing out (Tacoma, RAV4, Corolla).

Same, 5'5. I have it lowered all the way and feel like the rear of the seat is fine but I'd like the front to tilt down a little lower. Seats themselves are comfortable in the platinum. Also it feels like the gas pedal is a little far to the right side compared to the 2nd gen taco I came from

Mine can tilt lower in the front, if I push the front slider down. It's like the seat bottom control back raises/lowers the whole seat, and the front raises/lowers the front (but full up front is still just level), if that makes sense.
If that's not an option, maybe Desert'll do you some backs only, reverse angled, reasonable price...that'll push it down!

I think desert does it also makes a rear seat jacker to do exactly what you want it lifts the rear of the seat to angle you more toward the pedals.

Installed today. One thing not mentioned is how large these things are. I dont know why I expected something smaller but these are large chunks of aluminum. I was surprised when the mailman handed me the box today. They are very solid and after getting everything torqued down on the passenger I did a compare and contrast. Well worth it the seating position is like others have said, the way it should of been out of the factory. E79CFC22-65C9-4FFF-B3A1-AA914E9AFB1C.jpg

Coming from having 4 Tundras previously I definitely agree with others on here who’ve stated that you need a couple days to get adjusted (I’d say 3 days!) as Day 1 is spent adjusting the seat non stop and Day 2 its just starting to feel nice and bye Day 3 you start to realize just how great a position they put you in and look forward to jumping in for the next trip!!

    Great idea and great product

Agree completely. Didn't even know I needed these and was purely a spur of the moment buy after reading this forum. Do not review until it is used for awhile as it is an abrupt change. Absolutlely cannot live with out them now. 6'2" just for reference.

    YUP^^

I installed mine yesterday and it’s definitely going to take a while to “adjust” the seat. However I am pretty sure I have them in a very good position.

    *DISCLAIMER*
I only drove above 15 miles with them.

I do like them as they are beneficial because they allow me the ability to get a slight amount more of raise in the front (which allowed more lift in the back. But in all honesty I am short (5’5) and in my opinion I think the may not be beneficial for all short people in the Tundra.

I have been driving commercial trucks since I was 18 and my current career involves much driving which sometimes is evasive. Personally I prefer to operate all vehicles the same. Where my knees are higher than my butt which requires me to push “down” on the pedals “not” out (like the Tacoma). I find my body moves less especially in higher speed events which allows to operate the vehicle better…again take this with a grain of salt because I learned how to drive in a dump truck before I stepped in a car. Meaning it may just be muscle memory for me.

Ultimately what I am getting at is that, as a short driver, if your like the seat tiled forward these **MAY** not be for you. But again I really like them and probably are going to get them for my RAV4 because that seating position is uncomfortable.

I am happy I purchased the product and think it’s high quality. @DesertDoesI!! And thanks for the lemon head!

Installed today on the passenger seat. My wife really likes the new feel, and mentioned that it's a little easier to get out of the truck.

Installed both sides today, just drove a few miles , but both me and the missus like the feel MUCH better! Dogs in the back seat noticed no difference, but still enjoyed riding around...

Slightly off topic, but my curiosity is slightly piqued. Why is the first 1/4" of the front seat bolts smaller that the rest of the bolt?

Totally agree. Expensive but as is most safety and recovery gear. Well worth it when needed.
I now have 100 seconds (2x50) of fire extinguishing vs 10-13 seconds with a 5lb bottle and alot of powder to clean up.

Now back to your regularly scheduled thread....

I've seen alot of bolts like this. Some have the threaded tip and some do not, itll be a solid round tip smaller than the diameter of the threads. I believe it's there to help start the threads in "blind holes", you'll feel the bolt drop into the hole, which is great, you won't have to guess at it. It's way faster starting one of these bolts than a regular one, and I'm sure it saves a ton of time on the production line. Time is money and I'm sure whatever time they save using these bolts greatly offsets the upcharge on the bolt itself.
