I’ve been meaning to ask about that. My box came all jacked up, wasn’t sure if someone at DDI stuck the fish in the box or someone at usps before taping the hole shut. Now I have my answer lol

Because they just don't give a shit...worked for them when I was a kid. I have had to deliver empty boxes to people apologizing for lost contents, feeling like a total dumbass, but once again the USPS drags their ass and won't care.

So... i was going to wait for Christmas to open it, but i failed. Re-installed my front (anti) sway bar this morning so i had the tool set and impact handy. Decided to tackle it. Took no time at all today to get both driver and passenger installed (20 minutes maybe including adjusting seat adjustments to find the sweet spot, but i did use my impact driver to loosen / remove the bolts). I really like them so far!. It's surprising the difference such a subtle adjustment can make! It feels like you are sitting IN the seat rather than ON it. Much more supportive somehow. Anyway, top marks. Another satisfied customer here. Highly recommend if you are considering them!

Any of you relying on USPS tracking results as being God's word are mistaken.
USPS can't track a package correctly when it isn't Xmas, don't expect them to do it right during peak season.

Take a breath and be patient.
It's not going to kill you to be a few more days until you get your seat raised.

    Merry Christmas.

    My opinion:

Functionally these are great. I’m 6’3” and the extra height in the front of the seat really helps to support under my legs. Much more comfortable.

Aesthetically I think they need to be improved on. I think they need a round footprint to match the profile of the seat leg. This would also help to completely cover the factory carpet cut-outs better. Also, they should come with a “plug” for the threaded whole in the front if you choose not to use the molly attachment.

I’m not dissatisfied. They do what they’re supposed to, but I’m not sure If I’ll be able to get over seeing the white metal floor that the Seat Jackers fail to completely cover. We’ll see. I bought a set for both front seats, but I only installed the driver side for now.

Just a suggestion if that white area bothers you take a black marker or some black paint to touch it up. That may work. It will blend in with the black rugs.

You could just get some lids from jars, paint them black after punching a couple of holes and basically have DIY covers of sorts. Lots of options!

There are definitely some options to cover the holes. I just feel that these could easily be reworked to give them a round footprint which would make it a nonissue and an overall cleaner look.

Sorry, didn't have much time yesterday, however, thought about it a bit more. To get a pretty good look...get a suitable size holesaw, cut discs from 1/8" aluminum plate, lightly chamfer the edges with a file, drill holes, primer and satin black paint. Aluminum is soft and EZ to work with, readily available in small pieces at the harware store or metal supermarkets, and it won't add a whole bunch to the cost. A cheaper no paint version could also be done with black plastic, maybe buy a little cheap black plastic garbage can or tote to cut up. Just my .02

My floor isn't exposed but my Husky mats cover the entire area, maybe that's the solution?

Just went out and got our tree; 1 hour 20 minutes each way and the seat was more comfortable than it’s ever been. My leg didn’t go numb and my back didn’t hurt. Hoping it stays that way on longer trips.

Okay, I have a few questions. How tall are the guys and gals who’s leg are going numb and back hurts. Even with the power tilt in the drivers seat, you’re not getting enough angle to stop you from sliding forward out of the seat? Or do the folks buying this product but have power seats? I really want to drink the kool-aide on this product. The wife and I are heading to Myrtle Beach soon with the camper. That’s an 8 hour plus tow for me. I would love it if someone could convince me this would in fact help my sciatic pain.

Do it, well worth the cost! I actually think Desert Does It could offer a satisfaction or your money back type of guarantee for this product.

I am 6’2” but my issues were related to two back surgeries and then fusion in my lumbar spine. So probably not the best person to ask…..

For the life of me, I couldn’t get the factory power seat comfortable for me.

    Not a medical device.
However, it does make the seat more comfortable, without the, always sliding forward feeling.
My chiropractor helps best, but these do lift the front of the seat, as advertised.
    Yes - Power seats

Okay, numerous people commenting is definitely helping. Plus the fact they have power seats and still support the product.

I haven’t had any surgeries yet. I have a compressed L-5, which gives me that sciatic pain. I’m doing everything in my power to avoid surgery. After awhile in the seat, it feels like someone is sticking an ice pick in my hip. My PT tested and tells me it’s not the hip, it’s the disc.

I will order them up. My fingers are crossed for the results I’m hearing from you folks. Thanks guys!!

I used to be 6ft before I got older and fatter. Before the risers I had my seat maxed out with height & tilt (front up.) Now there's more range and I get much better thigh support.

Toyota makes a reliable vehicle but they are crap when it comes to comfort. That's why people still buy BMW and Volvo. The difference is unreal.

I totally agree. My wife has a ‘13 Venda limited. Those seats are as uncomfortable as my SR5 Tundra. But, it has 130k on it with not one issue. We love it, and we’re looking forward to another 130k out of it. Hey, think the risers will help it…lol. I’d like to move the lumbar support and put it under my ass, not much padding in there.
