What a difference!!! Seat jackers

Dead on with what you said. Only caution with these bolts is their very easy to cross thread. Make sure you run them in several turns by hand.

 

The bed rail bolts/screws are like that as well. They make installation easier.

 

I just did a 17 hr drive in the truck with the seat jackers. Huge difference in comfort from before.

 

Waiting on an email back from Planted Technologies, who make custom seat brackets for aftermarket seats for specific vehicles. Trying to see if they can make a bracket that would LOWER the factory power seat as close to the floor as possible.

 

I really like these too, but consider that it would be hard to use these with one hand with the striking requirement, and the fact that someone trying to help you likely wont know wtf it is or how to use it to help you. I have a traditional extinguisher as well as this one for that reason.

 

I agree and will also keep my traditional extinguishers as well.

 

I'd love to put one of these in the kitchen pantry, but even if I told her, my wife wouldn't remember how to use it.
She doesn't spend that much time in the kitchen anyway.

Haha yeah I have the same one but it's under the kitchen since cause the wife doesn't wanna look at it all the time.....

 

Yep, I had a big thin red one in the pantry but when we repainted it she didn't want it back up.
She put it under the kitchen sink BEHIND everything else.

 

Try telling her its not the best place for it and see what happens......

I installed the seat jackers and they did help. Still not completely satisfied. I’m considering having the seat cushion customized.

 

You are going to spend the next week or so moving that seat around trying to find the "right" position for you since installing the seat jackers. I'm suggesting that you wait a couple weeks to get it all sorted out before you do anything else. I'm 6'0" with long legs. Before the seat jackers I had the seat almost fully aft with the thigh bolster up about 50%. After the seat jackers I moved the seat forward about two-ish inches, tilted the seat back forward some, and put the thigh bolster all the way down.

I just ordered a set of these, been putting it off for awhile. I sure hope it helps with my lower back pain.

 

So I have a 2020 Limited, and the driver's seat already lifts in the front for under-leg support. These wouldn't have been something I was looking at. But my wife complains that she feels like she could slide off the seat on her side. So this might be an advantage for her. I'm also thinking I can get one pair for $90 or two pairs for $173. Do I just not know what I'm missing?

 

My opinion is that a set is worth the $90. I feel enough of a difference and am more comfortable on longer rides. They are an easy install as well.

 

Maybe buy one set and try on driver side before finally installing on pass side? Your talking about a $7 difference if it turns out you need/want a second set. Might save $83+.

I used to make all kinds of parts for my truck,while I have limited access to a lathe and mill it's just not the same.

Ordered jackers on Fri and they arrived yesterday. Got them installed today but have not driven yet. Initial thoughts just sitting in it is increased leg room. I always felt a little cramped while driving. Will have to update after a few drives.

 

Finally got some seat time with the jackers. Well worth the money. So much more comfortable than without. I used to have the seat all the way back and now I think it is one or two notches forward. These really help I think if you're taller.

I keep reading about these. I have power seats. I’ll have to crank it up and see if it’s enough. I do feel like I slide down. Also have a herniated lumbar disc. So I always tries to keep my knee lower than my hips.

 

I put mine in 4 years ago and still love them.
