-40 something in North Dakota. We didn't get above 0 for almost all of February this year.

Yeah, gas gets gobbled up. Especially when your truck has to run for 10-15 minutes just to thaw out!

-39 C today... No issues so far. But man on highway it barely keeps cab warm at this temp. My ford was a sauna no problem. Prob due to active shutters and two turbos. Anyone else have this issue? Or a fix? Can i buy something to limit the cold air?

You might see some improvement from insulating/sound proofing the cab.

-40 or so overnight here. I had the block heater plugged in all night and it still made some unpleasant noises when I started it. Same problems as @Sharinganuser, too. I have the heat all the way up at max fan speed and have to decide between being able to feel my fingers or my toes or see out the windows.

Also, is the rear defrost only supposed to cover the centre third of the window or do I have an issue for the dealership to investigate?

I guess the fact that I don't have remote start and my commute is only 10 minutes doesn't help.

    I feel you guys.

It was almost 72 here this morning at 6AM (Brrrrr cold!).

Thought I was going to have put pants on!

Luckily no clouds, and I pulled through it while it warmed up to 84.

Going to really test the truck the next 2 days. I've had battery issues since it doesn't run at times for a couple weeks, so if it doesn't crank right up it'll be time for a new battery. Had the battery on a trickle charger for the last 24 hours to give it the best shot possible.

-23F or so when I was in Old Forge NY snowmobiling last winter. It started right up. I let it warm up for awhile since i had a 6,000+ pound trailer hooked up but no trouble with the heat.... maybe the extra heat produced pulling the trailer helped?

It’s currently -26F (-32C) and my tundra just started without being plugged in. I’m impressed.

It was -32C this morning or -45C with windchill this morning.

Plugged in all night, still screamed when I started it.

    Coldest for me was -30F/-34.4C

Did not like it. Let it run for >20 min before driving it. Have been in colder weather, but refrained from starting the Tundra or other vehicles, except the 95 Accord winter beater. Didn't care if that car pooched it.

It was -15F/-26.1C recently. I have purchased an oem block heater. Don't have a heated garage so will be installed this next spring/summer.

It was on the colder side last night. Truck started but it was not happy, even after being plugged in all night. Nothing is happy in this weather, mechanical or otherwise!

In all reality, if I had temps that cold often, I would have the following on the tundra:
    1. Block heater
    2. Battery (pad heater)
    3. Magnetic style heater on the oil pan or trans fluid pan

Thankfully the extreme cold is only a couple weeks out of the winter. We do see sustained temps of -25ºC regularly

I optioned the comfort+ from the dealer when I purchased to make the cold a bit easier to bear. It's a block heater, electric cabin warmer and battery trickle charger I can turn on or off via an app connected by Bluetooth. It definitely helps when the temps dip

Feels like -62! WTF? That temperature doesn't even sound real.
If I saw that I would start my Tundra... and then head south until the minus sign went away.

My remote start kicked the bucket this year so my Tundra has been garage parked all winter. I know, I spoil her. I've been driving the Corolla to work anyways. It started via remote at -35C after having sat for 9 hours at work without being plugged in. I was impressed. Not bad for a little sewing machine.
