Hello all and thanks in advance for any advice and guidance.

Tundra lovers and just bought an 05 DC TRD. Guy disclosed that the passenger front and rear windows won't work along with door lock for front passenger. The speaker grill was cut out so we ignorantly assumed someone cut a wire. Got it home and found this. I've seen other posts of the same stuff and looks like an aftermarket alarm system hack job.

Note- I have not found a box yet. Truck came with one single key and the dealership says it did not have a stock alarm system. The owner just drove it this way and never dug any deeper.
The back passenger window motor clicks.

Started with the passenger door nothing out of the norm. All wiring looks fine.
Moved to driver door. Pics below.
Opened up the kick panel on ds and found more stuff.

I took out the t splices and relay and wired door back to "stock" still nothing. Disconnected all t splices in kick panel and still nothing.

I guess my question now is was it a stock toyota thing to use T splices? If so does any of this look stock? I downloaded the 700 pg wiring diagram book for an 05 and I can trace some colors back to the door switch but I'm getting a lil overwhelmed at this point. It looks like the wire fiddling stops at the white connector right under the key.

    Welcome.

That's all aftermarket wiring for an alarm system or remote start. There should be a box in there somewhere. Probably up by the steering column.

    Excerpt from the MEGA THREAD
    • Some dealers, especially in the southwest, gratuitously installed aftermarket alarms from a company named "KARR" at a nice hefty 4-digit upcharge, even when vehicles had the OEM alarm/keyless system installed. These are a constant source of electrical woes for people and were often hackishly installed. The boxes for them are typically found zip-tied up under the steering column area, or shoved into kick panels

That's not something OEM-installed, I don't think. Door relays are something that are typically used with aftermarket. @Gg2m20 is going to have a fun time unfuckering that rats nest. Yikes.
