Sorry to hear about your truck @Law323. That's a very frustrating feeling to have your truck broken into. Most ford trucks are broken into on the main key lock. Looks like the thief was trying to do that same method to your truck. Some of the most popular places for car thieves to break in vehicles are theatres, malls & the gym. They know your going to be away for a long period of time. This is why I have a alert system on my cell phone and train hours tied into my alarm. I can't stand thieves.

    Still rolling stock baby....
Around here coyotes get shot on sight and then the ranchers hang them from the ranchers fence as a warning to other yotes to stay away. Tradition you know.
Too bad we cannot do that to thieves, shoot them and hang their bodies from a fence as a warning to others...

Yep, that's what I hear. This particular part of the lot gets hit a lot according to the cops I talked to. It's hidden from the road behind the gym. It's not in a bad area by any means, but it IS Memphis, crime happens everywhere.
Thankfully they didn't get in, even if they did, I didn't have anything of importance or value in my truck. I never keep things like that just for this reason!

Now that wouldn't be a bad idea! Or at the least, cut off one of their hands. Just a thought.....maybe....

Just don't get any bullet holes in my baby! One hole is enough! LOL

    :rofl::rofl::rofl: Now that's awesome! Or even better...buy a transformer tundra! :transformer::transformer:

Geico, and they've been great so far. Yep, got comp coverage that's why I'm not too upset about the whole thing. It is what it is and I live in Memphis......almost goes with the territory LOL

I did have my viper phone app go off one time while I was at the gym. So I dropped my weights ran to my truck. Sure enough some d bag parked next to me and door dinged my truck. The look on his face when I confronted him was priceless.

sucks ass, @Law323! glad your truck didn't go any whereand nothing was taken.

There has got to be a way to make the truck into a mobile tazer...or maybe not so intense, maybe more like an electric fence used for animals.....while you are away from your vehicle that you arm and disarm at the push of a button.......

@Law323 you should install a shocker on your handles for added security. That would be pretty funny lol

Couple years... I'll get it fixed when I get ready to sell my truck.

Yeah yours is definitely in worse shape than mine. Like you said though, it could've been a lot worse.

Used to work in a body shop in college. Worst case scenario, I need a new door shell. Best case scenario, just a little bit of grinding, some bondo and paint.

Either way, it'll get fixed. Got bigger problems to worry about than some asshat I can't do anything about.:thumbsup::thumbsup: I'd rather have to fix a door than pony up for a new tundra and mods!

I'm glad they didn't get in! It's unfortunate you didn't catch them in the act and make them instantly regret their life choices.

If it makes you feel better, a few weeks ago someone broke into my garage, then got into my truck, and stole a pistol out of my truck. Usually the gun wouldn't be in there, but it was secured in the vehicle and was left after a long weekend of hiking, fishing, and boating - when I got home on Sunday night I was tuckered out and passed out without unloading anything.

I reported it stolen, within a week my local PD contacts me saying they found the guy. Box, holster, magazines, and ammo all accounted for. I'm waiting for his sentences + 30 days to get my favorite P-01 back.

The absolute weirdest part of the whole thing is that the Thursday night prior to this I had a dream that felt so real that I actually remembered it and told my wife the next morning. I typically either don't dream or don't remember them, but in this dream some guy stole a gun from me. The circumstances were different but the result was the same as what happened in real life just a few days later. I don't believe in ghosts or premonition or whatever, but this is a crazy coincidence.

I have home security and camera. Inside the garage was literally the ONLY place I didn't have cameras..That has been remedied and my security system has been beefed up. My garage side door was secured but the automatic garage door was not. All has been fixed.

This is the guy if you all want to send hate mail to him.

Your door will be looking good as new soon Law , I guess we all take away a little part of your experience here. There are plenty of thugs to go around, and they eventually will get caught.
    Hang in there bro!
