A lot of :spending:today. @RCIoffroad Bed rack and front skid, Tepui RTT (20% off and free store pickup from REI), @TOTAL CHAOS bed stiffeners and @sdhq_offroad ABS guards all on their way. Rest of the lift should be here tomorrow/this weekend. Did I miss anything? I'd love some @Baja Designs lights and switchpros in a @sdhq_offroad mount, but I also would like to keep my house.

Mod party?! I might not be handy with a wrench but I can order pizzas like it's nobody's business.

    Just my 2 cents..
I really like my ARB arb simpson iii with annex. Solid quality and a breeze to setup.
I have mine paired with the Awning with full enclosure.. Makes a perfect setup for up to 7-8 people.

@pbcolt , Remind us where you are. If it's "PB" I can probably come help out.

I don't have experience with suspension (yet) but I felt my way through a crazy rack assembly recently (I'd like to think I'd do better this time around, even though you got a different one). I still have to install my RCI engine skid and ARS guards (if I can remember where I put 'em :anonymous:) so I could do those in tandem. The TC bed stiffeners look easy. Maybe we could mark where to drill before we pop a top, but that seems easy enough for 3 beers in. :D

And the RTT, probably you can get some help from REI staff (the best part of store p/u imo; they helped me install a roof rack on my Passat backnin the day) but if it's the one in Kearney Mesa, I could probably meet you there to lend a hand. Keep us posted about when you'll receive this stuff, if you really do want a hand.

I'm glad to see someone here joining me on the way to the Poor House. ;)

@Sunnier Thanks for the offer to help! I'll definitely follow up when things get here.

In Point Loma now. I grew up in PB, hence the name. The tent I'm not worried about, the Mrs. and I have put together 4 of these now...yes, I have a problem. The stiffeners and ABS guards do look easy, it's primarily the suspension. I don't have jack stands and all that fun stuff to help with the install. Worst case I'll just get a local shop or someone recommended to me to do it. It does seem like a race to the poor house at this point.

Too bad the meet-up isn't until 7 tonight, I work about a mile from the in-n-out.

All kidding aside :boink:, I think @Marty McFly makes it to Lakers games. Maybe PM so, if true, he can respond without his publicist knowing. And if not, he can say so without his fans knowing. :poking:

    Good morning everyone,

Just a few pics from Death Valley. Wish we had more time to explore. Carter ended up getting sick sat morning and threw up all over me while I was giving him a piggyback ride then again all over his car seat.
