Yeah, first heard about it a couple days ago. MadMatt 4wd covered it and went through explaining shock load etc etc. Terrible thing to happen especially with your whole family in the vehicle. I pray that the kids don’t remember it..

I paid $2k for the tires and $1.5k for the wheels.
Selling them for $2600. They have less than 3k miles and the spare is brand new.

Shipping this thin sucks because it’s not flat. Cheapest we found was about 250 just for shipping. No aluminum just steel

 

Does it cover both the front and rear cats?

Anyone know where you could get old man emu fronts rebuilt locally? Like, hose connecting coilover to reservoir is destroyed kinda rebuild..

 

does John at Accutune do ADS? I know hed does fox and kings or possibly Down South...

 

If Downsouth rebuilds OME, I’d suggest them. They’re pretty much the local best for King, phone call will tell you if they do others. They’re at the northeast area of Mission Valley on Mission Gorge.

 

I’ll give these guys a call and see what they say.

I don’t even have the shocks in possession but I figured what the hell and called ARB to kick the tires. Told the guy that they’d need significant work and he said “no problem, send them up and we’ll take care of it. Rebuilds are free of charge so long as they’re still within warranty, just pay shipping”.

I said “that’s cool, too bad I’m buying these second hand and they’re probably well out of warranty”

his response “send them up; we’ll figure something out. Just pay shipping both ways”


Not sure what to make of that but the guy was super cool. Might just go that route if I’m able to get them

 

I would. No one else will give you that kind of service for free. Take him up on it and, if they treat you right, tell everyone about it.

Hopefully beat the heat. Headed out to Prescott area for some camping and wheeling. Following weekend is the river.

 

Trying to figure out what to do this weekend. Thought about at least a day trip to big bear. Was going to have a little something for everyone. Off road up there, go to the pay to catch place for my son(found out it’s closed) and window shopping for the wife. But I feel like everything is going to be packed. Anybody have ideas?

 

Might be a little crowded in Big Bear but it's always a fun time. If you run any trails, let us know how they were.
