There’s an easy dirt run right around there too. We could meet in the morning, do the short leg of the run (about an hour, hour and a half), then head over to Hemet Lake. Lots of time to fish and, if you accidentally catch anything, we can eat together!

This exact bumper was for sale in PB just a few days ago.
there was one for sale in PB within the last week. I looked for it for you but couldn’t find it. Think it was on FB marketplace.. maybe OfferUp. It was $700 which seems kinda steep and considering you don’t know the persons welding background

It got down to about 48 degrees at night when we were at Lake Hemet two weeks ago. I'd definitely like to go there again! They have two or three group campgrounds that would be perfect for some trucks.

I'll be very honest with you. That is gonna take quite a bit of time to get right, gonna need your truck for about a week, and it's prob gonna cost you about 1000$ in labor to do it.

    Why
Welding time isn't fast (heat is your enemy)
Gas and welding and grinding materials are not as cheap as they used to be
my time is very limited through the end of the year (probably won't be able to do it before the 1st of the year)

sorry got a lot of spinning plates right now.

Your better off buying a complete bumper that has already been powdercoated.

    Just my .02$

The whole lake is perfect to line them up at. A little bit of snow in the background for a group picture would be bad ass

Hell yeah it would be fun. I also like that we can bbq on the edge of the lake. No firepits tho but we can probably rent out a couple camp spots abs use the fire pits. They don’t kick us out until 10 if we are visiting a camp site

Yeah, I brought up the group campsite because it might be cheaper to rent a group site and split the cost amongst each other. When I was looking at their prices for my trip, it was like $25 extra per night to park a second vehicle on your spot.
