Well, what's in store for the little guy?

 

Already test fit the 33s from the 4rnr. Fit was too easy! The 6" wide rims really keep em tucked under the fenders. Some sliders. Not too much else. I won't wheel this nearly as hard as the 4rnr. Looking forward to try wheeling with an automatic for a change.

 

Idk man, tires look a little small. I think solid axle, 4 link and 37" are the way to go
Maybe bob the bed, tube doors, big ol' stinger way up high!

@BestGen I can't find the picture of it, but my neighbor has a beast of a 4runner. LS swapped full kill crawler on stickies

 

I'm pretty sure he has my address already. He sent me some 4Runners.com stickers a few years ago. When you send my calendar @Bob can you send some Tundras. com and Tacomaworld decals too...?

I feel ya. Recently acquired a 12 year old girl and truck money has dramatically plummeted since x2

Cool kid though, opted for wheeling instead of clothes shopping, so I think we’re doing a pretty decent job keeping her priorities in line

Did you pull it everywhere or leave it at camp?

 

Pulled it through some washes for fun at moderate speeds (~45mph). I'll up the speed after I make a few modifications for next time, such as shortening the tongue length for tighter tracking and less tongue weight.

Heads up - We are planning our road trip back to San Diego. Looking like we will get there May 14th and depart the 17th. I blocked out Saturday May 16th for an offroading adventure with the soCal crew.

It will be great to see you, C1 and C2, and to finally meet C3!!! I’ll reserve that Saturday and you can let us know if you want a near-end-of-season desert run in Anza or a little mountain adventure; Idyllwild isn’t too far away from San Diego, but closer than Anza for most of the SoCal peeps.

Sounds good. Doesn't seem too expensive if you buy advanced tickets. Like $15 each person. We will not be camping though.
