And you noticed the weight while driving even with them just in the bed right? Same when I picked up mine, Tundra rode even smoother...

Would a floor jack work? Maybe strap the slider to the jack itself

What @BestGen and I did, line slider along your frame, put the ends by wheel wells on jack stands and shimmy it close to where you will bolt on frame and then you can use a floor jack to help lift slider on to frame so you can bolt.

    Solid advice.
I’ll have 2 jacks and jack stands to help me get em up to truck so I can get to bolting it in.
I’ve watched a few YT videos lol.
Hopefully start taking my Nfab bars off soon..
    Wish me luck!

Sorry Andy, wish we coulda at least mounted them up last night but time wasn’t in my favor. You got this tho. Jack stands and a jack are ur friends or if u can get a motorcycle/atv jack would make ur life easier if doing it solo. DON’T forget ice chest with beer lol

Holy cow. These sliders are insanely heavy!
I bolted them on and had them welded to frame. Figured it would be much stronger and the bolt heads wouldn't catch.
    Never taking these off now..
    A few pictures. Enjoy

Good job, A! Yeah, those damn things are the heaviest sliders I know about. Good on you for gabbing 'em up and making this work. You gonna make it to Sequoia?

Thanks @Sunnier the mods never stop.
I'm still trying to get my re gear scheduled and have a few light bars and rack I need Installed. I'm definitely trying to push for everything to be done.

    My truck feels heavy!
    Camper shell.
    Roof rack
    Decked system
All the crap in the drawers
    Sliders
    Bigger tires
    Front skid

Definitely need to re gear asap.

Yeah, the weight of those Pelfrey sliders is a lot. I forgot you also have Decked drawers. And big tires. I can see gears making a huge difference. We need a build thread or something so we can drool along with you.

Just my two cents worth of unsolicited advice.
Your rear sway bar, though nice on the road, can often be a hindrance off road and actually makes the truck feel/perform worse. Ask me how I know. LOL
Also, new gears require a fluid change after the initial 500 mi. break in period. I'm undecided as to whether or not it's a good idea to break 'em in off road. @BestGen might have some good input on that subject.
Lastly, since we need to air down/up and you're gonna want a compressor anyhow, I think a rear locker is far better/ more reliable than an LSD. I would/did leave the front diff open.
That said, I hope you're able to make the trip, it's sure to be a good time.
