My definition of overlanding. You are off road from point a to point B to point C etc. you spend the night at one of those points far from civilization and you were fully self-contained. Most likely multiple nights or even longer, like weeks or months. Probably only stopping for supplies. At least that’s my idea of it. It’s about getting out in nature and in a sense roughing it. It doesn’t mean it Hass to be one of the most difficult trails but more likely where the path is less traveled. If someone is just pointing their truck in a direction and making a new road that’s just stupid.

I was at the tire shop last week and the guy asked me what was on my bed. When I told him it was a tent, he was like, "oh you're one of those overlander guys!"

That was the first time I realized that I do not want to be associated with them haha

I started this thing back in 2013 where I wanted to explore and find a cool campsite. Get up the next morning and explore some more and camp in a different place each night. Thats my jam. But if anybody calls me an overlander I'll slap them with my sand ladders

I'll tell you in person over a brewski

What gets me is the three identical bikes. If they don't work for that company, then :smack:
(OMG... and I just realized that they are Specialized. They should get slapped just for that!)

People like to label things... Doesn't matter what anyone thinks.

For me, I use my truck as a DD and take it camping to explore the outdoors.
Take it to the beach with all my gear and tow my toys.

It is what it is. At the end of the day my truck is setup to do all the things I like to do.

You can call me a mall crawler. An overlander. Grandpa truck with the Leer topper. Get away car. What ever it it. I'm happy with my truck and all the things it does for me.

So what are the chances we could see snow on the ground on Monday? I'm gone all weekend but may attempt to play somewhere easy... if there is anyone else down.
