Hey, @Marty McFly, I just got up to speed on the Superstition Taco meet. Post #1950, the OP anticipated "maybe 30 trucks". I'm guessing they'll get more than that but, think Homie!, they could all be Tundras . Anyway, please run it by the Woah!-man, and let me know if it's a maybe.

Thanks for the invitation @Sunnier! I wish if I could make this trip but we had a family desert dirt bike camping the same weekend.
My truck suspension was fixed and I drove more that 200 miles on the AZ trail with group of SxS from Lake Havasu to Alamo lake and back on the mid Dec.

Holidays were good though I've been working a lot these last few weeks... Working in a liquor warehouse gets busy around the holidays!

Yours? Hows the new truck coming along?

 

Well, those of us who bought all that alcohol appreciate your dedication!

The 1st gen truck has cost me for mechanical repairs , but that hasn't stopped my glorious optimism! Spent more money on long travel suspension parts, and can hardly wait for stuff to arrive so we can get started!!!

It's very weird being this excited, money committed, and just... waiting. Where's the child having a tantrum emogi?

We might be able to swing a day run, but I don’t think an over night trip would be possible. It’s going to be pretty cold out there, and the wife is having a tough time sleeping with her big ol belly lol. Its going to be tough for her to be comfortable in our cramped little tent. Plus the tent is off right now, my truck is in snow mode and I’m determined to get snowboarding run at least once this season

 

Okay. Well, I'll be thrilled to see you for a day trip if you can make it work!!

OR... I just got a huge Gazelle tent I could loan you (and a propane space heater), and another tent I could use. So, options. It's not meant as pressure, but if you want to try, I'll totally help. FWIW, unlike you other dudes on here, I know what she's going through and it does suck. So... whatever you decide is fine. Love to Puppy Momma and, if she decides to give it a go-- day trip or overnight-- I'll be all about Support Crew!!

I’d bring camping stuff juuuuust in case. It really wasn’t too cold last year, end of January in the desert isn’t half bad.

I'll "let" Bruce (and Mrs. Bruce) convey when the garage is "open". So far, no parts are in , but I was informed when I ordered that King closes over Christmas and I know Matt at M C M is a busy guy. I'll check next week for an update on the TC control arms and King shocks. Matt said first week of January for the rear cantilevers and shackles (which I assumed actually means next week), and I don't have a delivery date yet for Deaver springs, but should know next week. I'll head up to Long Beach to pick up the fiberglass fenders for the front on 1/17 (anyone wanna meet for lunch?).

Basically, money spent and waiting at this point. But I think it'll start happening all at once. As soon as you want, @papasmurf, I can bring Banner by for deconstruction.

As for the rest of you, those that think you'll show up and lend a hand, let me know what you like to drink. Bruce likes Stone beers, and Mrs. Bruce likes wine, so that's what'll be on hand if you don't put in a special request. And whiskey for days' end accomplishment toasts, of course!

Yeah I’ll set up a sked for days I’ll be working on hulk.. I have a 1 acre back yard of dirt so plenty of parking for trucks... I like having company it’s fun!

@Sunnier yeah once we have some parts arrival confirmation I’ll have you bring it over.

And not having a Tacoma anymore didn’t stop me from joining I had a 99 for a very long time plus I’m a memember at 4Runner and rav4 forums but I own those so eh why not the whole Toyota family hahaha

So how's the exhaust bill passed in Cali gonna affect everyone. No more fix-it tickets. Is it really that big of a problem or just dumb politicians?

Alright party people. I know Superstition is floating around and people have expressed interest. This might be a good time to get that good ol tundra shit show back in order at least one time before I have to shift my duties for a few months

So who’s thinking about going? We need a group of tundras to represent this years event and flex some big booty tundra love!

@Sunnier thoughts? I am still tentative but if I make this trip I most likely will be doing a day run
