Just a reminder, 1/25-1/27 TacomaWorld has a trip planned out in Superstition, all Tundras are welcome! Stock, 2wd, 4x4, lifted, long travel, whatever you got there's terrain available for you!
If you're coming bring your Christmas tree to toss in the fire
Most people will get out there Saturday morning (1/26), I took the 25th off work and am going out mid day.

The OP doesn't make a new thread each trip, just changed the info and updates it hence why it has so many pages lol

Dude, that actually sounds pretty cool, Mike. I might be down for a day run with some Tacos.

About @Marty McFly 's J-Tree suggestion, @TheFreshMouse and I did Berdoo a few weeks ago and although it was tight in a few spots, it was very doable and might be fun with a group. There are spots to shoot on the BLM land before you enter the Nat'l Park too. There's a mine we wanted to check out off of Old Dale too. Just throwin' it out there. :tumbleweed:

It's a blast! Cruise through, camp out, day trip, whatever works

Berdoo and Old Dale are fun! I assume you went past Brooklyn mine, it's really cool! I forgot how, but can probably find it again, but drive past brooklyn mine, up some hill and around a few corners there's a cool abandoned house.

Come through! It'll be a ton of fun!

@sdde4n @papasmurf you guys want me to get a PM started so I can help ya'll find the campground come that weekend? We usually get out there and then figure out where we're camping. There's an awesome spot we had two years ago but last year it was taken by the time we got there. I'm hoping going Friday I can secure it.

    How could I forget!

    Roger that

You probably know the area better than I. I only remember coming in off wheelers rd and making a left near some sign going up a hill to the camp spot haha.

I do know if I had continued driving in the direction I was going rather than turning left it would have taken me to sand fingers. Hopefully that helps.

Looks like a fun truck, but you'd miss getting to build it yourself!
I'd love to do JT with you and 100 of your most devoted fans! ;)

But I don't know that we can make that work this month. It'd potentially be a big step up from the level of super-easy we've done in huge groups before. I've heard often enough from experienced guys that JT's a place a 2WD could go and not get stuck... but I've also seen a pic @eccracer104 posted of a full sized 4x4 stuck in sand; it definitely wouldn't be fun if it turned into a day of rescues with a million trucks.

When the Banner/HulkSmash build is up and running, I'll be totally willing to go pre-run it in 2WD (with 4x4 just in case), then we can plan a PAR-TAY. Until then, I might tag along behind someone else who's scouted it (maybe the route Sam and Steve "Mouse" did), but I feel I've reached a pretty good understanding of what I can and can't do in the BFT... and unscouted routes in JT are probably not what I should do. Plus, I'm not sure we'll get enough trucks this month (to make your publicist happy :)).

I feel like JT is the longest-running-plan-that-hasn't-happened on this thread!

@Marty McFly, I know Superstition is a long trip for the Puppy-Momma. And JT is far for those of us down south. Maybe wanna hit another ridiculously easy something closer to civilization? Or... better  ... see if Jen would be up to do an overnight at Superstition (overnight = break up the passengering?). I get the impression there'll be so many trucks out there, there could be some good spectator opportunities out of the truck-? I'm available that weekend... but probably will still have only the 2WD BFT to play with, so I'd be willing to do some spectating... as well as trying to passenger up in others' built trucks.
