Weight Distribution hitch/airbags thread

Does anyone rec/ air bags for hauling a 26 foot travel trailer on my 2013 5.7 Toyota Tundra?

    One thing nobody mentions... if your tongue weight is over 500lbs, by Toyota's recommendation you need a WD hitch.
    Doesn't matter the rest of the trailer specs - the tongue weight is the "gotcha".

    The nice thing about loading a car trailer is that you can adjust the position of the load to get tongue perfect

    I'm in the market for a new WDH. I am tired of dealing with the deluge of grease on the round torsion bars. How do you like the Equal-i-zer? Pros, cons? Are there any other quality ones out there that are virtually grease free? Thanks for the replies!

    Best hitch on the market in my opinion. You do use a little grease on the pivot points on the hitch, but none on the bars. They sell plastic pads for the bar brackets that quiet it up and work well.

    Woukd I buy one just for one 200 mile trip? Hell no!

    If on the highway, stay in the right lane and mind your business doing 60 to 65. You should be fine. I would do it if only once.

    Hitch should be here Thursday, picking up new trailer Monday, probably will head out on the "Maiden Voyage" by the end of next week.

    I have them. Getting rid of them. The lines are rotted and they need to be replaced. I off-road more than I tow/haul, so away they go. Just need new bumps.
