    No Cheetos.

Just did it to grab your attention.

Wanted to gauge interest in a WeBoost group buy

    https://www.weboost.com/boosters/vehicle

I've contacted a few vendors and if it there's enough interest, we can probably work out a group buy.

    Thanks.

As always, depends on the cost. Have to weigh it against al the other cool stuff I work to buy. I do have crappy service at home though; I’d be modest likely to get one gift that. @Challenger1, is this what you have?

I did a WE Drive reach last year. Worth the money for the guys that actually get outside and use their trucks. I live and work in northern az and coverage can be spotty in a lot of the areas I play, hunt and work in.

    A review I gave another group of guys on it;
Reality is, when you're in the middle of actual no where you still have no service. However, It greatly extends the fringe area for both voice and data by quite a bit and drastically reduces dropped calls. The data can be a bit slow at times, we rely heavily on google drive files and some of them can get kinda large, but slow is better than none. The install takes some/ a lot of tweaking, I'm on my 3rd try of finding the perfect spot for the the internal antenna. In the instructions they say you CANNOT be closer than 18" (internal antenna to phone or device) and they mean it. It kills signal and drops calls like crazy if it is too close. I also read that the internal antenna cannot be with in 8" of a person... So I've got to move the in vehicle antenna one more time to keep my passengers cancer free I guess() since they seemed to be spot on with the other dimension.

The potential max 50 dB gain spec is quite impressive. 50 dB gain doesn't come cheap.

I've tested a weBoost Drive sleek (cheaper option where phone must be in cradle) and have about the same experience as your great quick summary here. They work when they can!

I would consider upgrading to an OTR unit if the GB is good enough.

I'd be interested in this, but sadly they don't boost for Sprint LTE/4G. It will boost Sprint 3G, but not 4G/LTE because that signal frequency is too close to 911/emergency operators signals. Maybe when 5G rolls out I can get a signal booster. I know I'm in the minority as a Sprint subscriber...

I have my internal antenna installed under the seat.

8" away from a body and 18" away from the phone when docked on the dash.

The Drive reach is a newer, better version vs the OTR.
If you really need the hard mount antenna it’s an option for the reach also.

Where did this come from? I called Wilson Electronics before I bought mine and they told me the Drive reach works with every carriers 4g in the US

It says it in the product information “compatibility” section on Amazon:
“Government regulations in the U. S. prohibit boosting a particular frequency used by some of the Sprint network. Most Sprintcustomers still see performance improvement from we Boost signal boosters.”

    www.amazon.com/dp/B00WMFXE5O/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_9TMtEb0S5VN16

And many Amazon reviews & customer questions say it doesn’t work with Sprint 4G. Search the questions/reviews for Sprint. If you already bought it, I’d return it.

I might be interested. I have been looking at the SureCall Fusion2Go Max but maybe the Drive Reach has similar performance.

Not really something I "need" since I have an InReach but definitely interested to see where pricing is at for a group buy. Any idea if this will be for a specific model or just a discount off MSRP for any model?
