We made it happen!!!! Gauging Interest, Revesol All Black Steering Wheel

Thanks for doing this. I am in for all black with a red stripe on top. How do we do this?

 

Wish they had an all black leather for the 2007-2013 models.

 

Is this group buy dead?

FWIW they ignored my message offering 2 free wheels as cores & to buy an all leather wheel.

 

Yeah, I don't think Revesol makes theirs out of the stock Tundra wheel. Pretty sure its all out of China with their own design under the leather. Part of why their wheel has a different design than stock.

 

Coulda said no thanks, we'll look into all black, or no all black or something.

 

They have already said they are considering all black but are not guaranteeing anything.

Its always hard to get a company to add to the production especially when the idea wasn't there's. I was just happy to get the number of responses from both Revesol and this forum. I think we did all we could to show them that there is a market for an all black leather wheel, but the decision is theirs to make.

 

I'm sure you'd get a better response from Vivid, but then you're at least doubling the retail cost. BUT it comes with a carbon top and center stripe standard. Not sure everyone wants that though.

 

I installed my red accent wheel that you all hate. If a raptor can have a centering stripe on the wheel and my truck can whoop a raptor, I think it’s acceptable!

I like it! It totally changes the feel of the truck, and makes it feel more luxurious. It’s a good upgrade since you use it every time you drive. Hopefully they come through on the black one for you guys. It’s a nice deal for the quality IMO.

 

I don't hate it. I have a black with red stitch wrap on mine. No center stripe though.

 

I can’t find them at all on eBay now. Are they out again?

 

I think so, it says they will return the end of the month. So I'm hoping their inventory will return at that point.

I used Loncky and got a blue stripe and blue stitching for my leather cover. 2 hours of my time to wrap the steering wheel, but well worth it. I thought about offering a service to wrap Tundra owner's steering wheels. Not sure if there's any interest. I'd probably buy a "core" steering wheel, so I could wrap and send it as long as the owner sent me theirs back as part of the exchange.

Yep, I've contacted Loncky and they are my back up. I just have a few mods I have parts for that I haven't installed but once those are on, I'll be ready for a steering wheel change.

I've had one of those wraps on mine for 4 years and it's holding up great. Not difficult to install either, just need to take your time.

 

So my contact made a prototype all leather unit. It’s up for sale $325 shipped. I’d snag it but other mods taking priority right now. If someone interested let me know. Here’s the carbon wheels also on tundras (Instagram)

I appreciate it greatly but my expenses on this truck have been crazy right now. Diamondback cover, color matched front end parts.. will have to stay a wish for the time being. This should really stay an available part though! Looks more like an updated oem wheel which is what I like.

 

I’m so tempted. Tundra is stuck at the dealer service for god knows how long. I’m gonna show some restraint especially since I don’t have my Truck. Looking at that wheel everyday will drive me crazy
