So last night we had some rain while I was at work, and I noticed that the waxaddict on the bed rails and tailgate cap seems to have run down the side of bed and tailgate. I did not buff it after I applied and it it had only been on about 18 hours before it rained. I was on my way to NYC with my daughter this morning when I noticed it so I didn't bother to buff it clean at the time. Has anyone noticed this "runoff" of waxaddict on their trucks?

I also used to just wash and periodically wax my cars with some turtle wax. With my new Tundra I am wanting to start doing a better job. I seem some awesome detailing jobs on here and it looks like waxaddict is an awesome brand too.

I would love some recommendations from everything as simple as what soap you wash with to the type of waxaddict products everyone uses for the paint, tires, plastic, etc.

Thanks. I am excited to get my truck looking at awesome. I also have a blaze blue 1794.

    Again thanks!

My next new vehicle will get a good sealant from the beginning. If I were you I would look into this now. Many different options available to pick from but the Gurus on here may chin in on their choices or favorites.

Use on tonneau cover? Yes please. I need to finish, then buff, I will report back on longevity.
PS the cover looked clean before I applied this stuff

They’re a UK based company, and don’t seem to have a lot of market share here. There are sites selling it, but I hesitate to use a site I don’t already know and trust.

Any idea where I can order some waxaddict feeder here in the USA? Having a hard time finding anything online and my supply is getting low. Or has anyone found something similar or better?

I'm gonna try the optimum tire coating that Jason recommended. Looks legit and I dont take what he recommends lightly at all.

I think you’ll really like it. The bottle I bought is still half full. I’ve done 3-4 coats on my tires, and a couple on my wife’s.
It takes a little practice to get it even though. Since you’re not seeing the shine immediately like other products, I tend to miss some spots. Just put the first coat on, wait thirty minutes, and see how it looks. Each coat adds more gloss, though they don’t recommend more than three at a time.

I’d heard about it on The Rag Company podcast (same place I heard about Beadmaker), and those guys are pretty impressed with it.

    Yeah it's tough to find.
I just ordered the optimum tire coating from the rag company. They seem to be the only supplier for that which sucks because you get charged $6 shipping and $5 liquid fee, unless you spend over $49 so I got suckered into spending $70 just to get the stuff and free shipping. I wasnt gonna spend $15 on a product and 11 for shipping. Oh well I hear it's really really good stuff

I still have a bottle and a half of waxaddict so I'll use it sparingly and hopeful for the optimum tire coating. @War Machine gave it a great review.

@SouthBoundSteve tried that. I don’t think he cared for it if I remember correctly.

I have plenty of Waxaddict. Sounds like I need to start a black market for that and @Pudge ’s syrup.

I don’t think a UK order takes long. I’ve tried several of their products. @driverdog likes their FoShow wax.
Their interior cleaner is really good.
I got a sample of their Vortex wax, and it looked incredible. May have been the best my truck ever looked. Even I can’t justify spending $250.00 on a jar of wax though. They’re real good about sending samples with your orders. I think I always get something extra.
