    Somewhat bad news for me. Was mocking it up to attach to my bed rail system, and it mounts to high to close my tonneau cover. I’m sure I could come up with some metal stock and just re-locate the bracket with a few holes and bolts. But it makes me wonder if that will be too much leverage and possibly bend my bed rail system or the sheet-metal of the bed. Hmmm

    We’ve got a metal shop at work I may go talk to our welder and see if he can donate a 3/16 or quarter inch piece of metal. I need it 7 1/2 x 7 1/2 to lower the tank about 3 1/2 inches so that it is below the bed rail. Drill nine holes and come up with six more bolts and nuts. I don’t really want to mount it to my trailer hitch. I wouldn’t mind a second bracket so that I could install it temporarily while camping but wouldn’t want to drive around with like that.

    Shouldn’t be too difficult just come up with a blank piece of metal and lower the receiver a few inches. No promises on how soon I’ll get it done LOL I got lots of honeydos lately.
