My guess is it's been done aftermarket, mine probably too. From the login you'll get factory specs/model and shit

As previously stated, some dealers would take the trucks and have an aftermarket custom shop put a "package" on them to make them stand out. All the dealers around here do it with their chebys and fords. Lift kit, special leather, some decals, boom. This is probably an example of that. My best guess. I can't imagine the body lift was done at that time, probably added by the owner to clear a bigger tire.

If OP's Toyota login mentions the selling dealer's name, OP could possibly contact that dealer to see if they know anything about it.

Exactly what I did but being the 3rd owner and the 2nd not doing anything to the truck other than use it on a pot farm (wasn't a car/ truck guy imho), this left me with the original buyer and dealership. It had just been too long for anyone there to remember or still been working there probably. But, it's worth a shot.

I stumbled across this "lightning truck" and the interior looks really similar to yours.

I wonder if a dealer was copying something like this...

I didn't know it was factory, but I knew they existed. I thought it was like some sort of bastard raptor or bastard TRD pro people did aftermarket.

It's possible. People do all kinds of weird shit. I posted a picture last week of my neighbor's First Gen Tundra with a "heavy duty" decal on the tailgate...:notsure:

Yeah, the takuaches around here seem to like them. My buddy has a motor from one of them in his '73 F100 trophy truck and it sounds badass.

Given the era of the Ford trucks and OP's, you're probably right on the nose that someone made this "Thunder" trim to rip off the 2000's Lightnings.
