Bilstein 6112s, assembled at the 1.9in setting. Perfectly level. You don't need to be messing with the rear. If you buy them assembled from a place like Boss 4X4, the install is 1-2 hours and not bad at all. With only 2 inches of lift, you don't have to mess with the UCAs. For the price, performance, and simplicity, there is no better option in my opinion.

I have 5100’s at middle setting. Rear is stock. 6112’s are good but more expensive. Both of these are solid choices.

The Toytec Eibach gets great reviews but it's non adjustable 3 in. So you have to lift the rear, and debatably get into UCA territory.

I am not sure why you don't want to lift the rear? Shackles are simple and easy to add with the Eibach kit.

Speaking for myself, not the OP... few reasons. Parking garage clearance... 1 more inch in the front/rear and I couldn't park where I need to. Getting a dirtbike into the bed of a lifted truck is just that much harder. More shit to mess with. 3/1 adds potential complexity of UCA upgrade which is time and $$$. Alignments are trickier. 2/0 lift fits 285/70/17 which is a great tire size. 2/0 also looks proper with the stock tires, where as 3/1 looks silly so you need to upgrade immediately.

I love the 3/1 lifts, and had an ICON setup on my FJ, but there are plenty of reasons to just keep it simple with 2 in the front.

Diff drop is to reduce stress and angle on the front CV axles - and I think you mentioned to me you have a 2wd... so no front CV axles.

Ah. Not sure where I read about 2wd, maybe it was a recent PM. My bad! The TRD PRO comes with a level stance, so 2 inches taller in the front than the standard Tundras, and DOES NOT have a diff drop. I installed the diff drop kit with my 2 in lift and it reduced a little bit of the angle, but it wasn't that severe to begin with.

6112's, which does not reuse any components of the stock front suspension.

I'm running 5100's on all four corners, front on the middle setting. Very happy with this setup on my pavement queen, ride is better than stock but not at all harsh and easy to align and keep aligned. Truck sits almost totally level which is the look I wanted and at the middle there's no need for a diff drop.

 IMO 5100's are a great basic setup. I don't get off the road much and when I do its usually just your average dirt/gravel forestry roads. The fronts come with bump stop spacers that are really nothing more than a washer. Until you go 2 1/2" or more in the front there's no need for a diff drop. Easy to align and will keep you within factory specs, easy on upper and lower ball joints, no need to change UCA's. There's really no downside. Would I have loved to do a 3/1 and 295 tires? Hell yes!!! But I also like to park inside my garage. :D

I will have mine done in a couple of weeks with 5100 on middle setting. Adding Nitto RG's 275/70/18 on stock rims. I will post pics when complete.

I am running this setup and the ride is better than the stock (yellow) TRD shocks.
