I found a picture of them. Definitely LED. Cool that they have sequential turn like the rear.

@Ruggybuggy how are the reverse lights compared to OEM? My wife's biggest complaint about the truck is the OEM reverse lights are too dim for her to see while backing down your driveway. I am hopeful these would be an adequate solution, as their styling is spot on with what I'm looking for.

Also, please post pics once fully installed! I'm loving vicariously through everyone that has them!

The reverse lights seemed bright when I bench tested but I’ll let you know once I have them installed which should be this weekend. My new turn signal module should be in on Saturday. I did have a pair of very bright leds in my stock tail lights so hopefully I’m not disappointed.

@Henry1jg, there are a few on here who also bought a clear lensed tail from Spec-D. You would imagine there's better light thrown through a clear lens than tinted, but I don't have first-hand yet (waiting for the Vland headlamps and Spec-D tails to show up). Check this post for some more pics.

My reverse lights aren't that great. I also have the smoked lens though.

My new turn signal module came in today and I had some time to install the Vland tail lights. I like them. The brake lights are nice and bright along with the markers. They do something though that I was not expecting. If the marker lights are on and you put the signal on the marker lights for that side turn off. I’m not sure how I feel about that. See the video I posted. Also they are stamped with a DOT number.

Anyone had these for a long period of time? I like the style but curious how they hold up. I drive 1+ mile gravel/dirt road that rattles my truck daily. Don't want them to crack or fall apart in a few months.

I really like the look and functionality of these over the oem version.

Those look pretty identical to the Spec-Ds I installed last night. The lighting performance is a huge upgrade.

I've had mine on a 2012 for over 2 years now, so slightly different design but essentially the same product. Lots of washboard and bumpy dirt roads in the summers getting to rivers. Holding up just fine.

Does the Spec-D lights turn the marker lights off when the brake lights are applied shown in my video?

So no, the markers always stay lit. The vertical strips for braking convert to an animated turn signal, which the bottom squares remain lit during braking.
