Can you share where you ordered from so some of us can avoid ordering from them. Bummer that you had to deal with the BS.

I dont remember where I ordered the 2-piece one, but it sucked. If you want to do this, go 1-piece! This is where I got the good one: http://viggdesigns.com/shop-online/15559158

I'll definitely post pics. I have the vinyl at my place and he's coming to visit over Labor Day weekend, so I'll likely have it done then. Stay tuned! ;)

When my brother was putting on the hood piece (custom cut piece, didn't order it from anywhere), he looked at the roof and said that it wouldn't be a problem. He said the bumps and ridges were minor and wouldn't pose an issue when the time came to wrap the roof.

My recommendation, look for shops that specialize in vehicle wraps and ask to see some of their work. If they've done numerous full vehicle wraps before and can provide you with examples of past jobs, they should have no problem wrapping your roof in vinyl.

If it would be helpful, I can ask my brother exactly what material and supplies he used.

If I did it, I'd probably do it myself. Use a large piece, lots of water and dish soap. Work from the center and out. Just not sure how I'm going to reach it all, ha.

Joe, I really like the glossy roof wrap on your truck. Sorry, I have a few questions that would help me (and hopefully other members too):
    - Do you know where you bought if from (on-line?), dimensions and how much you paid for?
    - Did you installed it yourself or paid to someone to do (how much)? It will help the ball park number....
    - I can't see from the pics, but did you replace with glossy vinyl the stock ones on the doors?

All said and done it cost me about $300 installed. I'm not sure what the total cost of the 3M product or sq footage.

I did replace the pillars with the wrap also. I wanted the tint to blend so changing that from a matte finish to gloss really helped with that and looks a lot better

Pics of the completed roof as promised. I'm extremely happy with how it turned out.

Going to go the Plasti dip route once again on the Tundra as the vinyl folks don't ship to Canada :(

@joem1cha3l and anyone else that did their roof , does the third brake light have to be removed? Because that would require the headliner to removed I believe.

Yep, it sure did. And yes, it sure does mean you need to drop the headliner.

Thought I'd resurrect this thread since I joined those who wrapped their hood insert. While we were at it, also added bed stripes.

Happy to help. I can cut any color and even add designs anywhere in the hood inlay. Let me know. I unfortunately don’t have a website to sell, everything I do is made to order.
