True I saw Walmart had g1 reissues but they were still expensive. :( I just got my 6 year old son into g1 transformers cartoon. Sick of the crap they had for kids to watch nowadays. You can stream all seasons of transformers g1 for free on tubitv.com along with other great 80s cartoons like GI Joe.

We would always go out to the woods and build tracks. It would take a week sometimes, then we would change it the next week because we got board
    with it.

Never knew anyone who bought the xray glasses but I did fall for the sea monkeys aka Brime Shrimp. LOL. "You can teach them tricks". Haha ... I wonder the lawsuits that would happen today for misrepresentation with these advertisements in the 80s LOL.

I've got several Pinky and the Brain comics signed by Jesse McCann. Original Dark Knight comics signed by Jeff Loeb...in front of me. Helped that I had a friend who owned a comic store in San Fernando Valley...

I had the one in the middle. And there was an elf character. I got his sword stuck in my grandmas driftwood table, and it’s still there.

My first Transformer was a Chinese knock off of Shockwave. I got it by selling wrapping paper and Christmas cards from this bullshit:
