Pitfall and Ice Hockey on the 2600 were my go to.

 

I still consider Pitfall! a little technological marvel on the 2600. David Crane did it all himself and that blows my mind.

 

My wife's family still plays Pitfall on the home Atari system they got a few years ago.

 

Then I say your wife's family has good taste!

 

So, my favorite game is The Division. My son’s is Rainbow 6. We talk crap at each other about which game is better. He sends me this he other day.

 

Good one.

 

Kids bought me Ghost of Tsushimi for my bday...very cool game.

 

That game is pretty dang awesome. One of the very few games that actually got me choked up (you'll see those parts if you play far enough).

You know it's well done when Japanese video game sites essentially say "Man, I kinda wish WE'D put that out." LOL

 

Fall Guys anyone?

I'm mostly a PC gamer, enjoy playing all the major titles as well as indie games, ARPGs, City Builders every now and then.

 

I've played Fall Guys at a friends place and it is fun. I can kinda see why it took off like it did.

 

That is the next game on my list. Looks awesome and can't wait to play it.

 

Yeah, I’m mostly a pc gamer, but have a few single player titles for the PS. My main PC game atm is Rocket League. I do play some Modern Warfare Warzone as well.

 

Secured my xbox series X preorder and counting down the days for AC: Valhalla. The new trailer they just released looks amazing. Hopefully it translates into the game.

Absolutely. I’m pumped for it.

 

The buddy I play games with most and had gotten me into the For Honor game is pretty spent on it. He's is wanting to find a new game for us to play instead. We tried Anthem, and that was such a waste of potential. So the search has continued until now. His son begged him to play Destiny with him. Long story short, that's going to be our new game. Now I am a hypocrite, I guess. I downloaded it to the PS5 and popped back in yesterday.

As angry as they made me, I am willing to set aside my anger to be able to hang out with my friends.

 

Xbox guy here. I've been playing a lot of Destiny 2 lately. I prefer RPG's and playing solo and I mostly play at night before I go to bed. My gamer tag is "Bif Hunkly" - you'll probably see me fall off a cliff or do some other stupid thing. I'm anxiously waiting for Cyberpunk 2077 to come out next week.

 

I am pretty sure that tripping over yourself and tumbling off a cliff is a standard right of passage in Destiny. We all do it. Some more than others.

My buddy is hoping for Cyberpunk to be our "next" game to run together. I know very little about it, but he seems pretty jazzed about the idea.

 

The wife surprised me with a PS5 a couple of weeks ago, I really haven't had any time to play it - but the little I have I'm loving the controller, and how easy it is to put the thing in rest mode, then wake it up and be right back in the game. I have Cyberpunk coming next week.

 

I usually play a Hunter and have the exotic "jumpy" pants to try to help myself out a little, but yeah, I tend to jump off a lot of cliffs. Especially when I'm doing that damn Dreaming City strike. I either jump off a cliff or get hit by an asteroid in the middle of my jump. I do enjoy the game though - the grind can be a bit much but the new story line has been pretty good.
Is there a Destiny "Tundra" clan that you know of?
If Cyberpunk even 1/10 of the quality of their Witcher series, I'll be pretty happy.

 

I don't know jack about the clans. I've been out of the game for quite a while. Barely getting back to it.

I hope Cyberpunk is good just so my buddy isn't disappointed.

 

They keep pushing the damn release back so it better be. I'm a little worried that it might be overhyped. We'll know in a week.

 

I get it. The game frustrates me too especially when iron banner runs or when my sons want to do a raid. If there is jumping involved I’m usually falling to the depths. It’s common to hear, “what did you do old man?”

 

Jeez, I haven't played Destiny since the D1 days but you guys are getting me thinking of getting back into it. Especially now that Game Pass has the game and expansions.

 

Grenades now freeze the enemy. It certainly has changed since D1

Well, just found out Cyberpunk is going to be single player only, so it won't be the next game for me and my buddy to run together.
