I guess Bungie is trying to win back players. Normally don't see it drop that much after 6 weeks.

I haven't played in a couple of years or so, but I'm a sucker and bought it.

 

Thats a six week old game? Wow, thats quite a steep discount that early in the game(pun).

Now if only kingdom come deliverance2 would be discounted that much, I loved the first one!

 

I'm completely hooked on Dune: Awakening. 85 hours in and I feel like I'm just scratching the surface.

 

What is it that hooked you?

 

I've been hooked on Death Stranding 2.

And I'm hoping that the new Battlefield is good.

 

Pretty much everything. Love the building aspect including the resource gathering, exploring, etc. But I tend to like games where I can roam around (I'm a huge Fallout fan, I have 14 playthroughs on FO4). I thought the survival aspect of it would make it difficult, but it's pretty well balanced, providing you plan accordingly (such as where to build your base).

 

I've read its multi-player game. Do you game with others or just soloing the world, minding your own business?

 

In that respect it's very much like Fallout 76. There are PvE events that occur that you can join other players in on if you want (and I think some PvP stuff too), but I've been completely soloing it so far. I was supposed to jump in with 2 friends for some coop (which is why I bought it), but so far I've just been having fun on my own.

And I just got an ornithopter, which is really opening things up being able to travel without Shai-Hulud on your ass lol.

 

Also forgot to mention, you do see players in the game world, especially at outposts (kind of like Destiny). But everyone minds their own business for the most part. But if you keep the chat window open there's a lot of chatter therein.

The coolest thing when you're roaming the desert is the sound of the worms breaking ground, and thopters buzzing around overhead. Definitely inspired by the recent films, but it does still feel like Dune.

 

Gang, if you haven't brought up that it's a game, I'd be totally clueless it's out there. I remember a movie, which I haven't watched, but I was not aware they made a game.

 

It's only on PC right now, so if you only game on console that's probably why you haven't seen anything on it. It's supposed to hit console eventually.

And if there's a character creation option, that's easily the first 5 hours of the game lol

 

So, I've delayed my PC build a few times for valid reasons (death in the family and finances) and now I'm kind of on a kick with the console again. I'll get there eventually, but I'm in less of a rush.

I've been playing Space Marine 2 a lot, and enjoying it. Love building my classes out as Dark Angels. Just wish we could get a primaris helmet with the wings. The lack of symmetry in the Bulwark helmet has me using other helms anyway.

I've also been using World of Warships Legends as a great low thought process type of grind. I don't spend any money, give zero care for the FOMO tactics, but enjoy the naval warfare stuff. It's really repetitive, but it's a great way to shut off the deeper parts of the brain and kill some time.

Helldivers 2 is fun when I've got a buddy online to run with, but I don't usually go play when I'm the only one in my friend list online. Latest warbond has been pretty fun.

Played a bit of Clair Obscur Expedition 33, but fell out of it after Act 1. Hoping I'll get back into it as the music and story have been great, and the gameplay is a fun twist on turn based RPGs.

 

I haven't played space marine yet, but it's definitely been on my radar.

 

It's a solid hack 'n' slash shooter in it's own right, but the 40K flavor makes it better. It's not perfect, but it's a good time.

 

I've been jumping around in between cp2077, kingdom come deliverance, and forza.

Cp2077 atmosphere is like no other at times.
Also need for speed heat. Those night time over the top police chases are a lot of fun.

 

You aren't alone, and I don't even have a valid reason. I bought parts on Thanksgiving weekend that I got a deal on that I couldn't refuse, but they're just collecting dust.

Easily one of my all time favorite games. I completed 3 play-throughs and started a 4th back-to-back a few weeks after the game released. Been meaning to get back to it and also play the expansion, but I keep switching gears.

I'm still on Dune: Awakening. Just crossed the 100 hours mark and I still have tons to do!

Not everyone's cup of tea, I guess. Im on my uh..4th playthrough I think.

 

I haven't played through all the possible endings, but I really liked where you team up with the Aldecaldos. It was epic. And 2nd I think is the one with with Rogue and Johnny. Beyond that I don't remember anything else as I only have 3 completions which were almost 5 years ago.
