If you ever do the online version you'll get better at shooting without depending on deadeye so much as it's different online. For one it doesn't nearly stop time when you use it (would be OP), and two, you don't have a buttload of resources/money to buy all the tobacco you can hold to keep topping off your meter so you don't get to use it as often. It's also dependent on the ability card system.

 

I've played KC: D. I loved it right up until I hit a snag where the story puts you into the female's shoes and now you're stumbling about the countryside fending off armed soldiers. Yeah I took a break from it at that point lol

 

@texasrho83 , I have been staying away from online because of hooray stories about cheaters and hackers ruining everything. There's probate session that can be done, I guess I could try that.

Re: KCD female character gameplay, I think you opened optional dlc mission with Theresa, where she recounts the events after Cumans raided Skalitz. I've heard it's a bit of a slog perhaps I'll pick up the dlc pack at some point.

I believe Henry comes to Theresa behind the mill and there's dialog part where he asks her how it went down?

Ps: there's different cutscene how Henry 'saves' her, depending on what you did to cumans while she was being molested. I think it's a neat touch (pun) from the developers.

 

Kerbal Space Program 2. I'm still failing to recover this guy I put into orbit 1500 years ago. Glad Kerbals dont die!

 

I didn't know 2 was already launched as early access. Last I remember, it was still in the works, had to look it up. It looks spectacular btw!

Biggest detractor is dying after making decent progress just to have to start back at the cave again

 

Still not much to do in it. The physics are working and such already. No missions in career mode or anything have been created, so its in a create your own content stage right now.

The new tutorial is spectacular already and still being refined. It teaches just enough to get you rolling, and make you need to learn on your own. But not enough to hand you the game in any way.

 

I was supposed to go meet army captain for some sword training, but it was evening. He was gone already. Having only 16 groshen, I decided to stop by the tavern try my luck at the game of farkle and bet all my money.

After losing the game and having to pay up, I started beating that man and ran away when nearby woman started yelling for guards. The lad who I was beating caught up to me and we started fighting. I kicked his arse and he surrendered. I told him to pay up. He gave me 67 groshen. Shortly after, two guards catch me and want to fine me for brawl. Fine is 80 groshen. I told them I don't have any. Imprisonment.

5 days later I'm free.

 

I've yet to master kicking ppl's asses in that game.

 

One definitely feels like a sorry nobody at the beginning.The one game where you aren't a superhero with special powers.
It's a satisfying process! Even skilled and kitted up, you can get your rear end handed to you by a gang of four peasants if they surround you!

Parts of this made me laugh. Some of the high hits in "One" as an Example. Its well done work.

Started season 1 of Diablo 4 a few days ago. I was barely level 7 and the f'in butcher attacked me. And then again a level or two later. I didn't stand a chance in either encounter. I'm now level 38 and haven't seen the bastard since. Cause he knows I'll kick his arse now lol.

 

I've been playing TII but I've heard others say there's no point, playing T1 is fine. I'm almost 40 too, wonder if I should switch

 

I read the same so I stayed on T1 this whole time, and leveling has been fine. Unless it really starts dragging, I plan to stay T1 until level 50, then I'll jump to T3.

 

I switched to playing an electric/ice sorc so it's basically facerolling already even on TII, I wonder how hilarious a lighter tier would be!

 

That combo is awesome! I played through 75% of Eternal Realm with mostly ice sorcerer, but switched it up a couple of weeks ago with shock/ice, 1 fire enhancement, and almost constant barrier. I can literally tank the Butcher in Tier III. So addicting that I'm doing the same build with Season 1.

 

I should review your build, I haven't tried to min-max my setup yet, mostly going with "lol that sounds funny" and clicking on it in my skilltree!

 

Normally that would be my approach, too. I originally tried shock before ice when I started the game, but I didn't give it enough time and abandoned it. Then I tried it again and paid more attention to all the details and spent an afternoon tweaking it. Wish I'd done that from the beginning. It shreds everything in Tier 3, but I'm only L58 and haven't gotten to T4 yet.

But the key to surviving is barriers. I put everything I could into it and have 5 ways to get one, and by the time I cycle through I have 2 or 3 more ready. So I'm literally just standing there shocking the hell out of everything and hardly taking damage. Really wish I had all that for the Lilith battle, which was a tough one on T3 with ice.

 

Remnant 2 anyone?

 

Battlefield 1 Xbox, I sank the Dreadnaught. I love this game, I try to play once a week usually on Sundays for about 6+ hours.

 

I still haven't played the first one. I forgot to check if it went on sale during Steam's Summer Sale. Been wanting to play it though so maybe next one up.

but if you'd like to pick it up on sale, epic games has it for 14 buckaroos. I actually got it for free when it was offered as a free give away.

 

I saw the Steam price earlier, but damn, that price on Epic is tempting. But I hate having multiple launchers so I may just grab it on Steam eventually anyway. I hate all the separate launchers that much that I'll pay more to have as much in 1 library as possible. Funny too cause when Steam first started coming around I thought they were the devil lol.

 

Ah, unfortunately all is lost. I have games on one launcher, but they would launch another launcher when fired up. Looking at you RDR2, watchdogs2 and others...

I know some consider epic as the devil these days, but I actually have most games on them because they all accumulated from free giveaways, and good ones too!! (Metro series, tomb raider, alien isolation, gtaV, plague tale, prey, KC: D, control...)

Little side quest in kingdom come. I'll try to fill you in as we go without spoiling major part of the story.

After boozing all evening and staying 3 hours past curfew, town bailiff pays a visit. He threatens to write a letter to the "higher-ups". Father Godwin has an answer to that:



A fight is on the verge of breaking up.



We give the bailiff and his guards a whooping and so the night continues going too well...



Uuh, yeah.



Fast forward to morning...





Hungover, but father Godwin has to be ready for mass. We make our way through the crowd of sheep.







We catch our friend of the night.
