Any update on the next batch of gen 2/3?

 

I believe every order has been built. A few at PC right now, 4 bare sets in shipping getting skidded today.

Hey Brian! @brimy311 I was surprised to get my sliders today. I had arranged with Mitchell to have you all install, but they ended up getting shipped. No worries. I am having a prob with install. Passenger side, rear support by body mount is pushed forward all the way in body mount, but I need to shift the slider forward, right about 1”. Any suggestions? I did confirm with Mitchell they were mine. Forgot to confirm 3rd gen DC. Any suggestions? Thank you

The double cab sliders are a bit of pita to get into place. If you move them around a little more, they should fall into place.

I would like to thank @brimy311 , Mitchell, Shiloh, and the rest of the employees at Victory 4X4 for outstanding customer service yesterday! I received my sliders unexpectedly on Thursday and attempted to install them myself. I could not get the holes to line up. Brian immediately responded to my post requesting advice.(It was almost 8pm) I should have contacted him directly, and not through a post. My fault, this forum stuff is new to me. Brian immediately offered to have his shop install the sliders. I asked Brian if I could come in first thing in the morning, and he made it happen. Shiloh was expecting me the moment I walked in the front door. They immediately got my truck on a lift, and began to problem solve the issue. Turns out the rear support on my 3rd gen DC was off a little. In order to get me back on the road, they performed the necessary alteration, and powder coated the repair, while I waited. This amazed me! It actually worked out great. I was able to take a tour of the operation once with Mitchell, and another time with Brian. Victory 4x4/JCR Offroad is incredible! It is like offroad heaven. Between the bumpers, sliders, and skids, in various stages of production, and the shops personal trucks/show trucks, there was endless inspiration for futures mods. I look forward to new offerings from Victory Offroad, and future purchases.

Weather here put a stop on my desire to stand outside and snap some photos as the rain/ice/snow is coming down quicker than I could keep up with shoveling.

I had the pleasure however of meeting Brian and the team of Victory/JCR and I was impressed with the shop, the staff and how Brian took time out of his day to entertain my Son and myself.

Slider looks amazing, as does the diff skid.

You’re telling me! Original plan was to pick them up at the distribution center, where they currently are, but got the okay from work to use the lift so now I’m playing the waiting game.

 

Nice. Mine are being delivered to my dad's work, but unfortunately the weather in PNW isn't ideal travel weather currently.

 

Installing today, what if anything had everyone touched up the frame with after drilling?

 

Use a self-etching primer, then a satin black paint. Rustoelum has a canyon black that is a good satin black.

Got mine yesterday. Very well packaged. Unfortunately going to be awhile til I get installed. Bad weather and no garage, able to use buddies shop next week hopefully.

 

I feel your bad weather, no garage pain. I need to make a friend with a shop however.... shit just need to make a friend would be a good start.

 

Hahaha I'll be your friend. But still doesn't help with garage or shop issues lol.
