Weather here put a stop on my desire to stand outside and snap some photos as the rain/ice/snow is coming down quicker than I could keep up with shoveling.

I had the pleasure however of meeting Brian and the team of Victory/JCR and I was impressed with the shop, the staff and how Brian took time out of his day to entertain my Son and myself.

Slider looks amazing, as does the diff skid.
Photos will be coming but for now, check this out!!

I gotta be honest, at least for the skid I ordered, the fitment is rough. It doesn’t matter what I do I can’t get the bracket on the axle connected. Really not sure why you didn’t make the brackets a little longer or provide longer bolts. I have the other nuts hanging on by a thread and still I can’t get the last one in. I’ve tried moving the skid around, jacking it up as snug as possible. You name it.

Ummm that doesn’t look good at all.. I’m sure @brimy311 will have a solution.

I had a similar problem. Took serious man handeling. And I did it without a jack. Pita. But I got it looking pretty good. Also was looking for a bolt that I dropped for 30 mins :bananadead:

Also the axle bracket hardware I received had to be a mistake. I have three 19mm bolts and one 16mm bolt, but all four nuts are for 19mm bolts...BD8EA37F-8190-4F50-8A5B-B02C80487571.jpg

I’m going to have to look at this Monday with our team. The large bolts should be 1/2”, so you definitely got a wrong bolt.

Can you email tech@jcroffroad.com? We’ll find the solution for you Monday.

If you want to keep messing with it, jack right under where the bracket on the axle tube. Also, the front parts need to be loose.

So sorry for the frustration. Please bare with us as we work out the kinks!

Maybe wrong hardware. Did you watch the install video? You see Brian jacking the skid up in to the housing and he threads the bolts from the ground up. I finally got my shipping confirmation so I'll definitely check it on arrival.

Also doesn’t look like there is a little rounded cutout on the top backside of it for the full plug

Well hopefully I can find the right size bolt at Home Depot so that’s no big deal. If I can’t mad handle the skid on I’ll let you know. But it seems like having the brackets come down just a little more would make install much easier?
