I knew I didn’t like their stupid little birdy emblem for a reason - cause they’re a crappy company. Seriously though, that emblem is moronic. I have their console molle panel and I sawed that dumb thing off. The most girly emblem out there. When they first released their low-profile oem winch bumper (an SSO knockoff), I asked brimey if they would offer it without the emblem, since it’s front & center, in your face, and actually blocks some of the light bar (I didn’t even call it girly). He said no, “it’s part of the branding.” Lame, girly, birdy-fly-away branding. It actually distresses me, how much I can’t stand that emblem. Lol. Real main point: after this thread, never see me buy any of their other products.

Me too. I trained with Marines, Airmen, and Sailors when I was in my Advanced Individual Training at Fort Meade. We (Army) used to have to form up at 7am in the sleet and snow and march on ice to go to class. On the way, nice heated buses would pass us with Marines, Airmen and women (aptly nicknamed "Marine Mattresses"), & Sailors (on their way to the same class) pointing at us and laughing. I remember thinking "I joined the wrong service..." In the end, the Army was where I needed to be, but damn. A nice heated bus ride to class in inclement weather would have been nice.

Hey, us Airmen in the middle of Northern Texas winters (cold and icy as fuck) marched to school daily too. I think it was a mile march from the dorms to the school house. But, my job is completely outside working on aircraft, so it helped season us for the shit we would work in.

I think their emblem looks strikingly similar to the Air Force emblem. Coincidence?

Also, google Air Force and hit images and you'll get 99 pages of Nike shoes and a couple pics of the President's plane, that's about it.

He has been talking sliders now for a year probably, he was always on fence, having them in his cart - just never pulling the trigger. He asked my opinion a few times, I always resorted back to the fact that victory blatantly stole a design from a tundras.com member and that I would personally not support their business simply due to that fact.

Yep, I've been watching a lot of that drama over the last year or so. Pretty shitty, and also sad that it came to a head in such a bad way.

OK, that's all great and nobody's denying or debating any of that. I was talking about a symbol, not Air Force personal/professional accomplishments. Someone else mentioned the V4x4 symbol, then I noticed it looked a lot like the Air Force symbol, then I went and did a google search to confirm, then I noticed that if you google search the words air force looking for pics or symbols you get a bunch of shoes and Air Force One (the plane). Then you call me a moron? Not sure where you got off track or what you're talking about really.

I was not speaking to you sir. I was speaking in a large general consensus. I deleted my post because I feel it reads differently than how I typed it out to sound in my head. I apologize for any misunderstanding and would never insult another forum member in any way. Sorry for that.

I have been saying since page three that we could get ten pages out of this. We have. We did it, and along the way, a vendor was vanquished from thy hallowed halls and all of us have been here to derail this thread to the best of our abilities. Epic.

Its cool, just took a weird turn there for a minute. All I was wondering is if V4x4 really stole another members product idea, would they steal the Air Force symbol as well... then all this other stuff happened, and here we are. Anyways, we're all good here.
