VF Tuner 3UR Support - Development Tools

I got about the same on my road trip yesterday. I haven't been able to do any hand calculated tank to tank calculations as I'm always trying to time my fill ups so that I hit the closest E0 station on the return leg and it doesn't always go according to plan. But the truck's computer was showing me just above 18 mpg on the highway section last night pulling a single motorcycle trailer and with the cruise set at 75, even for the hills. I just let it do what it wanted. Sometimes it didn't even feel like it came out of lock up, just growled a little deeper and walked the hill. I'll bet that these new tunes are going to be night and day!

 

New logger is working, logging rate is the fastest the ECU is capable if providing (which is a ridiculously fast logging rate).

We should have everything ready to go by Nov 15th.

Logger uses an all new framework and should be trouble free!

Question. I have yet to flash initial tune. Should i wait for the final version due out soon or go ahead and flash it beforehand and again when the update get to me? Thank you

 

Flash what you have now and then get some logs to Mat. Then he can make any needed tweaks and then maybe even add some of the upcoming features that he's been referencing. It's a progression.

use the "base" PID list.

Default logging rate is 5ms, you can set it all the way down to 1ms if you want to really make the ECU work

Logger is super easy to use but if you need any help let me know.

Mat @OVTune so if the old logger has been working fine for me do you want my next logs to be with the new version or is the older version fine

 

Even if the old logger works for you, you want to upgrade to this one. It's much much better

Max, I don't know how you haven't tried the tune yet... It's awesome! Flash it to your truck, download the beta logger a couple posts up, and send in your logs...

That way, you can get the new tune info with custom adjustments for your truck and ECU.

Downloaded the new flash manager with logger from the link on a clean Win10 laptop.

If you get a VC runtime error trying to run the new logger or flash manager, download the Microsoft C++ 2015 Redistributable (x86) - OV has the link on their troubleshooting page.

Edit: I plan on running the new ogger on the way home from work.

 

i'm just hoping to not go to bed disappointed tomorrow... were you able to get the Sequoia ECU?

edit, after reading that, i know it sounds like a personal problem , but seriously, this tune is the only thing i am looking forward to these days, soooo... hahah
