Regarding tune packs, he shouldn’t have made them available for sale if it isn’t ready yet. If it’s still not ready, this should be pulled from the site so as not to take people’s money without intention of exchanging the tunes as expected when its purchased.

 

The tune pack isn't for 20/21 it says so in the description, but for older years they are we just have to update the SW so everyone can flash them.


Regarding 20/21 we don't sell anything for 20/21, it says so in the product descriptions.

Regarding tune packs pending, the only thing is getting a flash issue solved, which we will have done asap.

if that is what you are referring to. On the 20/21 side I posted a bit ago only option right now is ECU swap. I have 3 ECUs, it will go to people who I know were first to ask. I'm 99% sure it's you, someone else in this thread and one other guy. sorry usernames are escaping me atm

 

When will Software version be released 1.2.9.9.9?per the 19 3URFBE FFV 5.7L tunepack ready and finalized. Also, will It be avail per updated release?

 

I do not have an *exact* date on it yet but it's being finalized. A few more days or so and then we can release everything

(except map switching for 2018+, that's in 1.3 with enhanced logger and such. The PDF was posted early so people can read how it works).

For the ones waiting on tune packs that I know your ECU should not have any flash issues I'm going to be emailing you those tune packs today.

Also Torque modified + 4Low are combined so no need for additional 4Low only versions. Seems like just a waste to flash that when it's all related to throttle limits.

Note if you get the E13 error (seems like only very old trucks) A new update is on the way to fix that specifically.

All customers (pre-vFT release) with supported ecu id will be getting emailed the tune packs?

 

yes and no.

For people that want it, yes. ******** however ********** some of you guys have highly customized files and these files wouldn't really apply.
Also not for people with highly customized FFV SC files.

Mainly because there is no point in using them

I believe that's correct. I get it as well although it's suggested that in my case the exact reason may be somewhat... unique.

Weird thing was my truck acted like the ECU reset with the immediate die after starting. Ok back to the waiting room I go.

 

Gas is kind of like food, I need it and I'm going to buy it just about no matter the price.

I don't know if Mat coded into the flash process to reset the Fuel Trims, but that may have been what you picked up on as it's relearning.

What's the difference between the tune pack and master tune pack? Will the regular tune pack have the custom features?

 

Just purchased my TP yesterday. I thought the bundle came with it but I was wrong Hopefully it comes this week

 

The master tune pack is a collection of tune packs for all the ecus. For shops / tuners doing multiple vehicles

 

Alright, so if I got the single, would I still get the custom options? Direct shift, great lock etc.

 

For those who have received TP's is there a way to distinguish what is modified in each tune (Properties) ?

I have a handful and not certain what each is comprised of without verifying each table variation which can be very time consuming. Any advice is appreciated

There is a function where two calibrations can be compared, but at this stage there are some rounding errors that make to work too well and it errors. Unfortunately, I'm afraid that comparing calibrations map by map is going to be your path to discovery...

 

Not the best/easiest but I open two instances of vFT app to compare maps of my ecu.
