I'm not going to visit your website every day for a year looking for new information. When you change a feature it's your responsibility to let me know how it works.

I have to keep refreshing the page because you keep changing the contexts of your posts which makes my replies look like they don't match what you said

I don't care. If I ask you to fix something, reply to me that it works as described.

I only drive my truck in 4HI, never in 2WD (I have the full time AWD conversion, but as far as the engine ECU is concerned, it is in 4HI).
I have only experienced throttle limits in cold weather (below approximately 50 F), never when it is warm out.
I think it has something to do with the High load/Low load torque limit tables (maybe because the air load calculation is different at different temps?)
Before I got a tune, I got around that limit by running a resistor in my IAT sensor wire to fool the truck into thinking it is always 70 F outside.
I have removed the resistor and adjusted those tables on my truck and have not seen any throttle limits since then, but it has also been quite warm lately.
Should be able to confirm this has fixed the issue once it cools off around here.
Other than that, I cannot see anything limiting throttle angle in 4HI vs 2WD specifically, at least on my 2010, all the tables for various gear throttle limits were set at max throttle angle already.

It might not be throttle limits then. Might be that its holding higher gears instead of downshifting. idk. but when I was climbing up to coyote flats (super steep long fire road climbs) I put it in S mode and held it in first or second, it sure didnt feel like it had full power when I floored it

BINGO, and spot on Cuban...AND then I scroll through two more pages of non basic tune related stuff and bickering...

OVTune, Matt, Focus on the Basic tuning for now and get caught up. Then...work on the extra stuff(DS/GL). Afterwards if you choose to do so...the Custom stuff.

I tried mine in 4LO and it had the same lame dead feel, that sounds like it is pretty awesome! Hopefully we get it for both HI and LO in 4WD

Mat can adjust 4lo throttle limits right now. He doesnt know how to address 4hi, per his post #4501 yesterday:

BTW, in case anyone is curious, HP Tuners has a throttle limit setting for 1st gear in 4hi. I suspect that 1st 4hi is the only gear that has a throttle limit. In 4lo it might be 1st and 2nd.

All I need is some data and I can find it. Assuming it exists in all ECUs. Some ECUs / versions have tables others do not.

put it in 4HI, put it in 1rst, and log it driving 100 ft from your house. you don't have to be in the mountains.
if it doesn't feel limited at that time, turn traction totally off and log again

FYI I am looking at HPTuners right now and there is no 4Hi 1rst gear throttle limiter table. So it must be ECU specific.

Sorry... not trying to poo poo in OV Tunes thread... but is it possible that "FWD/REV" 1st gear and rev gear are affected regardless of 2wd or 4wd selection ?

And... why 86 degrees throttle ange vs 90 ?

Well, since they label some parameters "4wd" then my guess is they are specific to 2wd unless labeled 4wd

As for 86 vs 90, I dont think it matters

btw, I dont think you are poo pooing this thread. There is nothing wrong with comparing products and I'm sure Mat is confident that his product competes well with the others
