Now you guys are just being dense. If I have a problem with my bank but the bank says "service counter is closed until the end of July" Why TF would I call them???

Exactly. "one more revision". Well I got my "one more revision" and tow/haul is useless. So I was patiently waiting until end of July

It would seem to me that this is not for you. Maybe requesting a refund, flashing back to stock, and looking elsewhere for satisfaction would be the best solution.

 

I completely agree with you. I would love to have a refund. Unfortunately, I dont see a refund policy on his website. I will email him and ask about a refund.

 

I've seen it somewhere before, User's Agreement or something.

"By Custom ECU tunes, no refunds can be given on any purchase regarding a custom ECU tune Software Suite License. Since these Licenses are non-refundable / non-returnable, there are no Returns on any orders processed by Ovtuned.com For any Software suite / license / tune service, only certain conditions warrant a refund and they must be communicated to us. The only instance in which a Return may be given is if the customer specifies in email to us before 24hours of the order so a Software license is not purchased. After 24hours of the order no refunds can be given.

For receiving a damaged item or wrong item, we will send out the replacement.

*CANCELLATION/RETURN POLICY BEFORE LICENSE AND TUNING PROCESS

If a customer wants to cancel the order or return the item after OR before receiving the package (Before using them), there will be a restock fee of$120for cancellation / returning the item to restock our cables for any product that uses our V3 OBDII Cable, Handheld. (Toyota Kits, Mazda Kits).

Stop trying to defend yourself to dudes who probably wear masks while driving alone. You’re not getting a refund buddy. Let’s find a real tuner.

 

To get this thread back on track with our development.

1. We are taking a 10 hour trip tomorrow to test our finalized transmission settings for directshift and gearlock.
2. As previously mentioned, we have confirmed that with our direct shift mode you can start the truck in 2nd or 3rd from a stop. We will be posting a video of exactly how to do this.
3. DirectShift has another feature we will show in the video, which allows you to do downshift Acceleration bursts.
4. We anticipate that we will have all ecus updated with all of this by our July date we previously discussed.



Directshift downshift burst is simple. You HOLD the shift selector in the "downshift position" it will take the truck to the lowest gear possible for that speed. You continue to hold it, and you can accelerate in that gear, then when you let off it will take you back to the gear you were previously in minus 1.
So lets say you're in 6th and need to quickly accelerate, HOLD the downshift selector, Truck will auto go to lowest safe gear, Accelerate, let off, truck will go back into 5th.


These features will all be incorporated into the final feature builds we have.

some of you guys have this already and can test in in S mode.


We also now have a way to flash ECUs to any calibration version we want, with our new UCAL (Universal Calibration) method.
This will help greatly with certain troublesome ecus.

I’m game. This was a $500 lesson that a tune is not a one size fits all.

 

How bad is it that I'm willing to pay again for HP ??

 

just going to let you know right now, so we don't get another blow up complaint later. If you flash your truck with HP you lose access to our files and future updates.
Not trying to argue, do whatever you think is right. Just letting you know right now so it's not a surprise later.

 

It’ll be worth it dude. If we have a tuner that actually looks at your logs and makes adjustments. And implements the features you ask for.
