Glad to hear. Ya, involuntary ejection of bodily fluids is pretty uncomfortable.

Received an update but the file is corrupt I guess unless I’m doing something wrong. I’m running the latest software and my base tune file opens fine. Any ideas while I wait for a response from OVT?

Would you need to keep my 2019 ECU in exchange or can I buy your setup straight out?

Cool....and it would be plug and play which would be ideal. My 2019 Tundra TRD Pro has the TRD intake, stock headers and stock exhaust. I assume you already have an optimal tune for such a basic set up for 87 octane and 93? What other customizations are available on the tune? tire size? transmission shifting?

    Can you PM me pricing?

Mat are you still working on getting Tundra updates out or all done? I was uncertain if my logs went through properly when I sent them a while back, and didn't receive an update yesterday or today. No rush on getting to mine out, I'm stuck offshore at work for 2 more weeks just didn't want to be lost in the pile.

I've been trying to follow this thread, but I can't quite get to the bottom of what's going on now with the tuning.

What are the options now if I want a tune for my 2016? I've looked on their site but it isn't clear. Am I just buying the software to tune, or are you still able to buy an outright remote tune?

I believe your only option is the VF Tuner now, but my understanding is it will come with base tunes that you could manipulate if you chose to do so. Even just the base tune should be leaps ahead of the stock tune. I could be wrong but this is my understanding.

Okay thanks, that what I thought might be the case. So is it just the $200 now for the VF Tuner software? I mean that is certainly fine by me, it's just this thread is gigantic and hard to piece though lol

Love this Tune. I do a lot of towing, so the gear lock feature is really nice. The shifting has all been corrected for my 35s & 4.88s, super smooth. The added bonus of 91/93 octane map switching is very nice to have, too!

I normally don't Hot Rod my truck, but I did pull away from a new raptor the other day, I'm still wondering how the raptor driver feels about that. Oh and there's that BMW X3, M40i that kicked my ass.. lol

You would need the VF Tuner and a cable. I’m not sure about pricing or if it comes with a cable. I’m sure someone will chime in that knows.

You need the software and cable. Cable is about $180 plus the $200 for the software.

A few people left to update, and fix corrupt file errors.

Also, we will have our Tundra Tune packs (for 2018 Tundra) available now for vF Tuner as well.
These are open / non locked tunes from us you can use and edit in vF tuner (new customers $250)
previous customers with 2018s who would like this can purchase them for a small fee ($79)

The raptor is pretty lame compared to a supercharged Tundra and only runs around 14.1 in the 1/4 mile.
The m40i is a beast though and can pull a low 13 sec pass!
Nice work showing the Ford what’s up ;)

Even with me loosing traction on the start, I smoked him, I'll post the dash cam video. I'm not certain, but I think the new Raptor has the switch to select AWD/Auto?

Looking forward to see your truck run with the bigger injectors!

Gearlock AND map switching works for you???

Dammit boy... I tow almost weekly and have been doing so for months in drive with no tow button. It's really sucking the fuel down. I'm really looking forward to having my towing capabilities back!

That's good to know map switching works. I plan on a 93/87 setup.
