#173, 000 miles 2010 RC LB 5.7 4x4 in good Running condition with tow mirrors and tow package. Interior looks pretty good. Rear bumper has some dings and has a scratch on one side around the bed. I am flying out to Nebraska on the 28th to buy it, than driving it 15 hours back to Georgia!

Check both KBB and Edmunds between the two they are usually right there in the ballpark on value. Don't use the base value- take a minute and input the options, miles, etc. to get the most accurate result. They will have trade in, retail sale and private party values.

Prices vary depending on region and demand. I could see a lot listing for $12-15k.
Buying at end of month can be beneficial for buyer, don't hesitate to haggle a bit.
    Good luck!

I had a very hard time finding a second gen tundra in this configuration. 5.7 LB RC thats what i genuinely want. I am flying from GA to nebraska to purchase it than driving it back. Ive already negotiated $11,000 i honestly think its a very good deal as these configurations are rare.

$11K sounds good but verify that there are no rust issues.

    Me too!

I drove 12 hours essentially to trade in my truck for the RCLB too and until this one you are getting mine is the only other in that color that I think I have ever seen?

For perspective though I paid 5K plus traded in my 2006 LC with 185K on it for the Tundra which was a Dealer Lot Truck in Chicago with 40K miles on it.
Mine is a 2015 SR and for me just more practical than the Cruiser is though I also think about it still missing the beast!

I think the asking price was 19K but I almost dont remember now really,it seemed like a good deal for me and I Love the truck and have still kept my 2001 too which I also love!

Yo will likely not see another one like it too soon for sure!

Yes i have. Appears to be good, the dealer seems to be pretty up front about it, they showed me pictures of the few body defects it had and a video of it running with out me even asking for it.

Besides rust, are there any 5.7 tundra related things to look out for on the truck?

From the info the dealer has given me starts up and runs good. Shifts good and four wheel drive all works as it should no leaks.

Very solid engine, some think noisy or noisier than other makes.

Cam tower oil leaks, most are modest and just live with them

AIP failure, costly repair, many install a bypass kit for remedy. Many never have any issue.

Starter is a PIA to change, costly if had done.

Air Injection Pump (I believe), emissions contraption. Buried up against fire wall. If it fails, "Limp mode" results. Many threads. Search AIP. There are bypass kits to disable the AIP and get operational again.

Ive heard of the AIP failure and replacing the starter is a pain. You mention the aip being emission device. I wonder if there are any emissions devices worth removing for sake of power and fuel economy like with the diesel deletes.

Check the bed for rust from underneath where it bolts on. You may see it deformed a little from the top where the bed bolts are. But these beds rust from the bottom up where it connects to the frame. I have a truck cap and a rhino liner & still have it...
BTW, kinda weird to see someone from the south coming to the rust belt to purchase! Usually the other way around. My son will be driving next year & I may fly south for a white 4Runner.

    Good Luck!

Nothing helps economy, except maybe maxing speed at 60 on the hwy. Not like diesel.

For HP, aftermarket exhaust and tuner like Bully Dog are easiest. The pedal Comander doesn't add HP but does liven up the accelerator. Some folks add CAI with negligible gains, with improved sound. Tundra has stock CAI.
For more air flow google SABM for Tundra.

I like your style. Doing a fly 'n ride is a great adventure. Is the dealership going to make sure it is road worthy for your trip (fluids, tires, battery, lights, brakes, etc.)? I was estimating $12000 as a decent price for the truck. Definitely a rare one.

That's a less common (dare I call it odd) configuration, but if it's what you want it would be very hard to find. I think in general $11k is a good price for a Tundra of that year and mileage. If it's as good as it looks in pics, no rust especially in the bed as noted above, go for it! Someone was in here asking if $22k was a good price for a similar truck last week if that gives you a frame of reference. Tundra values are up at the moment.
