No worries...I'm not an engineer but I did sleep at a Holiday Inn about 4 years ago.

 

Unless Tyler changed his design or you made this change intentionally, the spacers are supposed to be above both the front and read cat plates, not between the plates.

Yes, i realized that only after I had everything put together and re-reading the instructions over and over.

Took the die grinder about 5 seconds of elongating the hole - cut like glass, new 1/2" bolt fit like a charm. I'll work on the rear plate this weekend when I have more time to measure while dry fitting. "Measure twice, cut once." - Norm Abrams.

 

I just ordered both of your 1/4" plates. Hopefully you'll be ordering aluminum soon!

I was going to submit the order tonight, but I will push it through tomorrow, I am putting EVERY aluminum plate that has been ordered on the new quote. I am assuming I will have all aluminum up to today before Halloween

 

You're welcome, the plates look great. Pretty excited to get them. CC thefts seem to be getting worse and worse. And more protection is never a bad thing.

 

So, the BDS adapter is being made, and now I am going to be making a template for a universal front skid plate for the subframe lifted tundras. I have someone with a TRD pro with the +4 lift (6” lift) coming to be my first vehicle to test for. Then I will have local people with different lifts test fit it to make sure it fits everything.

 

Patience certainly in order for us all. A unique and needed product nowadays. Classy63 thanks for working hard pushing out orders! Hoping mine (1/4 Alum front and rear set-powdercoated Order # R161979816) is in this last batch. Patiently waiting either way

Tyler nice job on wrapping these up. FedEx guy just dropped them off. These will be going on right after I have the under carriage sprayed with fluid film to protect it from the winter crap.

 

@Classy63 thanks again for the quality product. Dealership just installed the TRD skid and apparently some local companies making Cat plates are upsizing the holes common to the skid plate. They had no issues at all with your design. Thanks again!

 

Just wanna say, I recently bought and installed a stainless steel Millercat cat shield for my Prius and was not impressed with how thin the plate was. The plate I got from Tyler appears to be almost 10x thicker, no joke. Just thought id share .

 

I have been asked to make plates for the Prius, but I don’t think they would be happy with the weight

 

I totally get it and due to the design of the Prius cat, atleast on my gen 2, you kinda do need it to be a little flexible to bolt everything up. If you do come up with something for the Priuz, tag me, ill sell my Millercat and buy yours.

It’s been a helluva week…

 

I had the same thing with mine. But mine came yesterday.

 

I feel your pain. FedEX had my RCI front skid sitting 2 hours away from my house for 3 days. Then sent it two hours past my house for a day, then finally back the other direction to me.

 

Mine has been over a week and is now stucked in my location for 2 days. Don't know what's going on with Fedex and it only shows: Updated delivery: Pending

 

Still better than USPS.

 

Same here. Fed Ex has done this to me with just about everything I have ordered for my truck and car lately.

 

I think the problem might be the same like everything else. Not enough of workers. Happening all over.

 

Yep just about every single package i've had from fedex the last month has done this. i'm fucking over it. people need to get their lazy asses back to work so we can go back to normal.

 

Mine was a week later than the original delivery date due to the FedEx depot near here being down 35% in headcount. My son works at UPS sorting packages and got a bump from ~$20 to $27/hr just to keep people working, they're so short staffed.

 

Mine is stuck in PDX at FedEx too. Everything that has been shipped with them has been no less than 4 days later then originally scheduled.
