Yes, any of my “standard” plates fit with the PRO, it is just a tighter fit the thicker it is

 

Took more time adjusting the rear plate, specifically tighten the two bolts connecting the rear plate to the z bracket slowly, and back and forth to ensure the gaps were split. No 1/8 spacer were needed with this technique.

 

I need the Z brackets. Will send a message.

 

well, just ordered mine. hope I ordered correctly, Aluminum front cat theft deterrent/transmission plate and Aluminum Rear Catalytic Converter/Transfer Case Theft Deterrent Plate. I should expect to see it in October/November (maybe)?

That was me. @GarTX526 no issues with heat and I'm in Fl. IIRC, after a 20 mile drive the highest temp I hit on the plates was around 219 degrees. I have front and rear plates. You won't have any issues.

219F wow, I drove 500 miles at 75mph in 95F and pulled into gas station. max temp with IR gun was 150F. If you saw 219 f you must have caught the catalytic converter through the ventilation holes.

 

curious to know what the temp is w/o the plates on. 88 degrees is fine but what about 115 degrees AZ/NV temp during the summer?

That’s why I went with the aluminum not to deal with rust. Even if you go with steel and have them powered coated and it comes off from off roading it will probably rust.

 

I am packing orders up all day today. I am working my way out of June with bare aluminum orders now

 

I made it out of June except for powder coated aluminum and 3/16 steel. Both are getting worked on. I am excited to plow into July tomorrow.

 

Installed the plates today. Kind of annoyed with a few things considering how much these cost, the fact I had to wait 10 weeks, and that several other people have had the same issue in this thread which hasn't been fixed.

The gap between the brackets and the rear plate end was about a half inch when tight. I threaded an extra nut in between which seemed to work, but looks pretty tacky. Also, the rear plate rests up against the transfer case shield. I'm hoping this doesn't make noise when going off road but haven't had a chance to test it.

 

As mentioned many times, you are supposed to remove the shield from the transfer case. Valhalla is a small operation producing alot of these plates, so most didn't have an issue with the wait. He @Classy63 is the go-to for these plates.

 

Must have missed that in the instructions... Oh wait there is none. I'll take the shield off and see how it looks.

 

There are 4 spacers that go between the rear plate and the crossmember. There are 2 different thicknesses so you will need 1 of each thickness on each side.
