I have bent 4 1/8 and 4 3/16 steel front skid plates this morning, now on to some clean up and welding! I am almost out of pipe, but I am planning to have all of these welded out today besides that.

 

Let us know when the 1/4” aluminum front skid plates become available.

 

My only issue stopping me from making it is I need a TIG welder to do it right

Just received and installed front and rear cat plates. No issues, great product! Did have a question for others.
Since install, I now feel a vibration in my steering wheel and floorboard whenever my AC compressor kicks on. I assume it’s because the install of the plates creates a more rigid frame connection, and every little vibration will be amplified. Anyone else notice this?

 

Finally decided to go ahead and get a set on order. Looking forward to these arriving when Tyler is shipping July orders.

 

Just installed mine… I have an RCI front skid so I reused the RCI carriage bolts for the front and it was a bit of a hassle fitting up the plate because there’s no room to fit a wrench to tighten it after the plate is on there. Otherwise everything else was pretty straightforward. 4wd will need to remove the stock transfer case cover for the rear plate.

 

I have tried my best to be as honest and transparent about this business with everyone from the start. Today, the person I have been plasma cutting plates with and changed from version 1 to version 2 with has decided to stop working with me. This will require me to start up with a new business to cut and bend the plates. During this transition, I plan on making all the changes for version 3. As such, I only have the plates I have now. There may be further delay for plates that have not been cut yet. Once this transition is finished, I will likely be able to make more better and faster. I appreciate everyone’s patience and loyalty thus far and ask that everyone bear with me during this time of transition.

 

My like is for your transparency, not happy there is an issue.
