    I just ordered a set of aluminum skids. I got hit two nights ago at my apartment complex parking lot. The thieves stole all 4 cats and cut some wiring. Hopefully these plates will add some deterrence the next time they come around.

    And sure enough, the video showcases a Tundra. Houston PD recommends skids along with a few other interesting measures, like spray painting and etching the cats. I’ll probably do that when I get mine replaced.

    So am I understanding correctly that all 3rd gens have a catalytic converter in the front and the rear? If that's the case it seems like it would be pointless to purchase just a front shield?

    The front plate blocks access to the front side of the rear cats. Tyler's rear plate is an additional deterrent. I highly recommend his products.
