Valhalla’s Shield theft deterrent/skid plates info and ordering post

Definitely will order the v3 4x4 rear once on website. Have the front plate now and it’s excellent

 

I am welding steel this week. I am very excited to catch up on these long over due 2022 plates!

 

I need to make time to put it on the website today

 

On the one hand, I generally think that when it comes to purchasing products or services, you need to pick two of the following:

• good,
• fast, and
• reasonably priced.

It sounds like these plates are good and reasonably priced. I knew they wouldn’t be delivered quickly when I ordered on June 2nd.

On the other hand, this Tuesday will be a month from the day I was told my plates are shipping. After not hearing anything for two weeks from that point, I emailed back to check in on Oct 9th and never heard back. It sounds like the focus has shifted to ‘22 plates…which mine are not. So, I can certainly understand the frustration, even though that doesn’t excuse how people handle themselves or treat others out of their frustration.

Again, I don’t mind waiting. I knew it would be a wait. But I don’t think any of us are ok with being told things are happening that aren’t.

 

Oh my. Look. The same issue, but presented reasonably, and without threats. What a novel concept.


That sucks that it's taking a while and that you're not hearing back. Did you see the message from Tyler that he is so buried he doesn't see emails? If you have FB he said that FB messenger is the best way to reach him. If you don't do FB (I don't) ask if somebody in here can touch base with him on your behalf so you can try to set up a time for a conversation about your order.

 

I have shipped all the 22’s I have here, the rest are at powder coat or will be delivered to me in the next few days to be shipped bare or welded up/powder coated. I will have more tonight, but I am shipping 07-21 plates the rest of today

 

I was wonder if any of you have bolt on sliders and how they fit with the valhalla cat shields. What brand are you running and what mods did you need to make if any?

I have the Valhalla shields in aluminum and the Cali Raised bolt on sliders. The only mod I made was to one of the brackets for the shields. I was able to cut it and drill a new hole so it used one of the same bolts as the sliders. I don’t have a picture on my phone anymore but I posted earlier in this thread with a picture.

Yes, I saw the post mentioning that FB messenger is best on Oct 18th. However, when I placed my order June 2nd, I received an email confirmation that says “If you need any assistance with your order, please email us at *********@yahoo.com.”

I did just get an email tonight that a shipping label has been created for my order, so I’m hopeful!

Is it a fair assumption that the '22 plates you've been referring to are non-Hybrid plates?

I have your plates, I ran out of pentagon bolts, but they should be delivered tomorrow, your plates are shipping this week

I just got word from Valhalla that my plates just shipped...ordered a few months ago...I knew it would take a while but the communication was good...I asked for updates a few times along the way and got responses...this dude is super busy and I appreciate his answering my questions...looking forward to seeing how they look installed! I'll post some pics. Trust the process!

 

Hey Tyler - I was wondering if you had any updates on my order # R443796800. Also I was curious since I live in Houston if it would be possible to come pick up the plates when they are finished to save money on the shipping cost? Thanks!

 

I would be so pissed. Any other trucks close to you with anything like that on them? I would be checking neighborhood cameras.
