I think I have it, if I do I will likely ship it tomorrow.

I have shipped all the vertical plates that were ordered for people who already have their plates.

It's typically good for 300 miles with a camper.

Big payload hit though. It's an extra 320 lbs or so when full compared to the 26 gal tank.

Last night dad asked me if the TF tank would work with the skid and I opened this thread to find a picture of the skid, and you had posted this 2 minutes prior. It was creepy haha

That's insane, here I am thinking the 38Gal OE is big, along comes the 46G....
But yea, I agree on the payload lose out, but when you tow, that extra mileage would help.....

@ayardic do you have a picture of the tank prior to the plate install or after if it is not covered? Trying to visualize how big it is, as it is gonna suck adding that much weight on the driver side, plus 31M battery (~80Lbs) and driver will def need to be weight reduction program.... (~200 lbs)

I'm having a hard time with the math on this one. Gas weighs 6 lbs. per gallon and an additional 20 gallons should weigh more like an additional 120 lbs. A full 46 gallon tank of fuel should be more like 276 lbs. total. What am I missing here?

my un-educated guess is the material of the tank itself plus hardware to keep it in place?
Your gas weight sounds about right, but I would figure it needs additional/stronger hardware to keep the tank from falling off? But 320 Lbs is a lot....

plenty of room between the rear cat plates and the tank.

Just wondering, do you feel any "lean" when full tank? Especially when you do a full left turn?

I'm trying to remember the weight of the tank with the bedliner exterior. I thought it was 170-180#. Their site says 187# shipping weight.

I always mix up the imperial gallon weight to u.s. My fault. 7.2# vs 6.1#

Edit: the factory plastic one was less than 20#. That's at least 150# more tank and 122# more fuel, so minimum 270 more than a full oem 26 gal tank. It's why I would like to go to the 38 gal on my truck when I get irritated enough at the 26. So much lighter.

Smaller dogs also tend to be a little, eh, dick-headed that they are the Alpha where the actual Alpha is laughing softly behind them.....

I was just wondering if that option would work. I'm very tempted to get that transfer flow tank. Knowing that it will not interfere with these plates makes the decision a little easier.

Now I just need the funds.

    For the tank

and the fuel to fill it :)
